Wait until after the offseason update to buy veteran players. You can normally get them much cheaper around then.


Or better yet, try to buy the veterans for next season during the playoffs. They can't play for you this season in the playoffs, which should reduce the number of people bidding on them and make it easier to pick up help cheaper.

Haha I actually meant right after the update. Everyone is worried about dumping salary due to relegation or are spending their money on trainees. That's where I found players for cheap. But these guys are right during the playoffs are also a good time.
