What about that Brazilian 19 year old with 23,000 salary, what a headache! Which is not to say I wouldn't like to have him!

It wont be as much as you think.

My last mid-season salary increase saw me paying about $8K more a week.

i remember you saying you thought salaries are linked to the top skill...

what do you think the following might be;

Sensational - $12k?
Tremendous - $15k?
Marvellous - $20k?
Wondrous - $30k?

I was hoping for a sharper curve up to $50-60K for the most developed players - I guess we are still a while off this...

i bookmarked a couple players on the list today, one had marvelous (15) and the other prodigous (16) rebounding. check them to see what how they change next week.

yeah i did that too.. would be nice to have a small notes featuer like HT as i have about 20-30 people on my bookmarks (for if they are ever re-sold) and tough to remember everyone!

what do you reckon the top salaries in the game will ever be... will we likely get $100k pw players?

I would expect a 20k stadium selling out with TV to give a av. weekly return of 500-600k $$ thats a healthy roster of 8-9 really good players... looks like its still wiser to build your stadium and keep coining it til your profit margin disappears as you are forced to compete...

i'm getting there!! just had my latest completion finish today and debating what to do next... i have 2 home games leading into the playoffs... may go for a chunky 3-4,000 upgrade.... btw what was your supporter base at the start of the season...? i dont want to go overboard as im only in week 20 of my BB career and appreciate even if i have the seats and can get back on a winning streak maybe i cant sell out 17.500 seats quite yet...

also what was your take on the salaries (as this is the topic of the thread!)...

are we going to see some $30-40kpw players and if so what levels would you estimate them to be?

Perhaps ill just creep up to 15k and see if i can sell out there then....cheers

so if the wages arent actually going to sky rocket until the really top skill levels i guess either the game engine / financial structure will slowly favour the more rounded players because this would indicate there is no real financial deterrent stopping you building mono-skilled players and have the ability to support them...

let me try use an example - what would be better for team ratings and least expensive.

If your SF / PF / C were all Prominent(rating 10)at ID that would be 10x10x10 =1000

or you could have SF / PF /C with ID of 2 respectables and a legendary! 7x7x20 =980

I guess the salary of the balanced team would be 3x9k =27k ish vs 6k+6k+100k = Much more...

I know the weightings per position are not equal but just using it for the example.
