WOW the games in the Big 8 conferences were very exciting. There were 3 games where the PD was less than 3 points! It looks like it's not gonna be easy to make it to Playoff in Big 8 anymore.

seems that i should get used to of having bad starts to every season now...
since the past 3 seasons i have lost my first league(or we can say competitive) game...
(33204923)
(36510461)
(39809704)
the margin of defeat has decreased with every passing season though.
but the previous 2 seasons were quite decent after that 1st defeat.lets see how this season goes for me...

Well the first game is really not all that important. A season is long, and the importance of winning matches increases later on in the season.

Given that a team plays the best lineup, I think the first game of the season is the best chance to see the true potential of a team because all the players have respectable GS and the same enthusiasm (well ofc neglecting the fact that a team might play TIE, Normal, CT etc). Looks like Golden Rule and Indiens de Polytech are gonna be the bosses of India once again.

Regular season is not that really important. What matters is the PO series! =P

Yeah, that's why the league games later on in season become more important.

Lets not forget the advantage of Home Court come PO time.

Well home court advantage is applied in all situations (apart from a few occasions), so it doesn't make a difference if it's a league game or PO.

Regular season is sort of important ( to gain r HCA) if you are in a very competitive league.

Well that's true. HCA is very useful for PO.

thats right but a PR manager with right specialty can extract something from most of the situations...

Well I think the specialty of the PR manager is very low, and I hear that the extra points your team can gain from having a specialty is just like...2-3 points. So unless it's a really really close game, the effect is minor I think.

But ofc it is still an important external support for your team. For example my first league match where I won by 1 point. Without my Crowd Involvement PR manager, I may have lost the game.
