you may have built too many bleachers, so your income fluctuates a lot from game to game.. you might want to add more lower tier and courtside seats but you can't due to the maximum number of seats..

There is a soft cap of approximately 20000 seats in the stadium. After that you lose profit if you try to lower prices to increase attendance.

Maybe the user wanted a refund for the built stadium?

If you really want less seats, then just pretend they're not there. Image the seats were demolished and the cost of demolition was offset exactly by sale of the salvaged materials (which is actually quite a good deal). If you happen to fill thoses imaginary seats, just send me the extra revenue.

Seriously though, I think not having the option to remove seats is reasonable. Demolishing part of a stadium surely cost more than sale of the salvaged materials, so why even make this an option? Also, I don't think the 'soft cap' is an issue, because even if you have 'too many' of one type of seating, it does not affect the occupancy of other types of seats -- at least I am pretty sure this is the case.

If you only want 13k bleachers, but have 18k bleachers, I don't think this matters. Whether you have 13k or 18k in bleachers, you'll still fill the same number of lower tier, courtside seats, and luxury boxes. In other words, I think the occupancy of other types of seats like lower tier is independent of the number of bleacher seats. My understanding is that the occupancy of each seat type is determined by its price, fan interest, and number of that type of seat (and becomes more inefficient with more seats, hence the 'soft cap'), but _not_ the number of other types of seats. At least, that is what I have observed....
