Yeah. But my 46K guy had no problem draining the 3 to bring us within 1.

Also, after the first defensive stand... or even the steal... Why not call a timeout? They had timeouts to call. You're down 1. You have less than a minute, and possession, with multiple timeouts left... why not use 1?

Real coaches don't end a close game like that with 2 timeouts left. Not realistic, not even fictious realistic!

I think game engine uses fiba rules for timeouts. That means you can't call one when the ball is alive. You can only call one when there is a game stoppage.

are you sure about that, i thought the difference was that the player couldn't call the timeout but having possesion is enough?

But imho the decision not to call a timeout, with the speed the game have especially when he comes into a fouling situation is ok.

That he didn't foul in the last possetion was the questional part.

Ok.. if fiba yeah the timeout, nyeh, sucks but makes sense. The 16 seconds and not fouling... 3 guys on court with "high" experience. the best player in the league on the court on my team... I just would like to think, they wouldn't (successfully mind you) go for the steal with only 16 seconds, not having ball, no shot clock, and down by 1, esp after recently hitting a big 3.

18.2.2 A time-out may be granted during a time-out opportunity.
18.2.3 A time-out opportunity begins when:
* For both teams, the ball becomes dead, the game clock is stopped and the
official has ended his communication with the scorer's table.
* For both teams, the ball becomes dead following a successful last or only free
throw.
* For the non-scoring team, a field goal is scored.
