The only decent player they have is Kemba, they have no one else that is even decent.

That is exactly why they are tanking, you see if they actually were trying to win then they would have some better players. Teams have been doing it for years, the NBA is the only sports league where one player makes all the difference. The reason why the Bobcats tanked is because they want the top pick in the draft. The same goes for tanking in Buzzer Beaters, and yes as you said tanking is stupid.

Man! dude!! Im not tanking. It was told to me by a few d-2 teams. Im not tanking...dig it man!!! Im simply getting rid of my older studs who have been costing 15k ea weekly and now they are declining in some areas. I have a plan. Im riding hi in 1st place but a team in my league has tanked the past several seasons, baked up several millions and BAM..He just loaded his team to finish up d-5 and BREEZE through d-4. Im trying somewhat the same method. And hope i can have several hundred thousand dollars saved by the end of the season so I can get me a few superstars to lead me in to d-4 and remain competitive. Easy bro-Easy!!

No worries, I wasn't trying to prove you were tanking, I may have been a little off topic, but i was showing the problem of tanking in the NBA.

I think the term "TANKING" is not best way to put it. I would call it "REBUILDING", meaning...yes...get younger...find new prospects to train whether you buy them OR draft them. Now if you want to obtain a young phenom through the draft then focus on making money for those draft/scouting points. While doing that, don't worry about wins and losses just hire a decent level PR manager so your team will maintain fan support and still can make money...at this point only be concerned about training the players you currently have so when that young prospect is drafted by your team, he'll have some players to work with during games. basically, i shed some money by selling some 32 and over players..they were a few my stud scorers. I then bought a few players that are low 20 to mid 20's. AND i bought 2 31 yr olds who still have some life in them. Invested in adding to my arena as well. Unfortunately right now 2 of my leading dudes are injured for 2 weeks....(all star break) but we should win the next 3-4 games pretty easy then the schedule gets tough but i should have my 2 injured guys back. We'll see how the rest of the season pans out. I may sell off a couple of my guys to get around half million and obviosly invest in my arena again and go after a combo position stud when free agency drops. Thx and good luck.
