The Season 21 Preview

It's finally here, really late, but here it is!!!

Great 8

Cleveland Crazys
Sitting with the second worst point difference in their division. Have nonetheless managed to secure crucial wins throughout the season including against the current number one team in the Big 8, the Clutch Ballers. Crazy will probably sit tight on the bubble, and make a last second push for the playoffs this year. Dirk De Vrieze and Tian Huai yong currently are on the leaderboards for rebounds, both with 14.5 a game. Eitvilas Bubudavicius leads the team with points averaging 19.0 a game.

Baller2341
Finished 3rd place during their first year in League IV.62. Look for another solid finish and a serious play-off run. The currently sit at 4th place 1 game behind second place and 1 game ahead of sixth. Wallace Lorenz leads the team with 19.2 points per game, while Usher Debruyne leads with 6.1 assists per game.

Thunderhorse
Right now they can not be stopped. Manager Toki Wartooth has managed to begin a successful push with home-grown trainees. Much like the Clutch Ballers, Thunderhorse has slowly built its team up in League IV.62, and last year finished 1st place, after reaching only 6th the year before. They face the number one Big 8 team on Tuesday, and that will probably be the biggest game of the year before the play-offs. It is very likely that these two teams will face in the finals as well, so fans will tune in to see the capacity of both franchises. Suprisingly Thunderhorse has no players among the league leaders, but with 4 players averaging 10+ rating and newly purchased Ryszard Rodewald earning 12 points, 3 assists, 2 steals, and an 11.5 rating in his first game, Thunderhorse definitely has a very talented squad.

Durotars Finest
Durotars Finest in their first season in the league have had an amazing start and now are set at the 2nd place spot in a closely competitive league. Led by Cao Xianning (24.5 points per game) and Savvas Dimou (14.5 rebounds, 14.9 points, and 13.0 rating per game) the team looks set to make it to the play-offs in their first season. An early cup knockout also gives the team the ability to concentrate all their efforts on their league play.

Rebel Forces
Still struggling to get a win after a change in management. Looks like a definitive relegation story if team doesn't shape up. Only one game behind a relegation spot, but with 49% of League IV.62's negative point difference, the future looks weak for this fledgling team.

Diaper Dandies
In their 4 seasons in League IV.62 Diaper Dandies have qualified for the play-offs every year except for Season 20. They are consistently a contender and look to qualify again this year for the play-offs. Joe Avalos sits at the helm of this team and hopes to finish better than 4th for the first time in team history (in League IV.62).

lélé
Reaching almost 1 season since new management, and chaka has already managed to poise his team at a safe 5th place. If lélé can continue its success, the team could secure its safety at 5th place or fight for a playoff spot. Either way lélé looks to be having a solid season. Javier Briones leads this team and is a league leader in both points (22.3, 4th place) and rebounds (19.0, 1st place) per game.

The Dunkers and Shooters
Despite tremendous individual success from its players, TDS hasn't been able to convert that into wins for its team. Henryk Paleczna is 3rd for points per game with 23.3, Vinnie Jones is 2nd for rebounds per game with 16.1, and Błażej Brzeziński is 2nd in assists per game with 6.9. The recent injury of team leader Henryk Paleczna on Saturday won't help TDS at all in trying to recover from their slump, but the team should eventually string some wins together as they have the talent to back themselves up.

Nicely done on the in depth big 8 analysis. I'm looking forward to the great 8 edition. Its time for the conference battles to begin again this season. Which conference will win more games this season? It should be pretty close but I'll pick the great 8 to eek out more wins than the big 8, but we will see.

A great finish to a close game. Great defense from Rafael Ferrándiz opened up the opportunity for timely baskets from Vitaly Roletskiy and István Gere to get this W over Dunkers and Shooters

That last game proved something. Thunderhorse is the team to beat this year, but it doesn't mean I will let them have that cup easily.

Shoot, well nice job Great 8 on another win. I still haven't won an All-Star game in this division. (FYI last year does not count since the Norfolk Dolphins starting 5 played 93% of the game!!!) Oh well, now its high-gear to the play-offs, look out for Clutch Ballers Season 21 play-offs ;).

well, time for the playoffs to start. I get to face Durotars Finest again. thankfully I have Rodewald back from injury to deal with Xianning who put up 45 against me the other day. personally, Im rooting for all the home teams. I kind of want to face Diaper Dandies if I win, and I would like to see ballers vs ballers in the big 8. good luck to all.

I was a little scared too having my team blow leads, but it looks like fate decided that a Baller-Baller rematch would be played again this year. Best of luck to everyone, and hopefully everyone is able to play their best basketball.

Personally I hope that Natures Creatures, and DNS come back, and it looks like both teams are poised on doing that. As for the Semi-Finals, and Finals Thunderhorse is obviously the favorite coming into this game with the best point difference and record, however their only loss was to the #2 team, The New York Ballers. The Clutch Ballers made it to the finals, very unpredictably last year, but they still are the runner-ups. Diaper Dandies can't be discounted either because they have the second best point difference in the League, and had they been in Ballers' division the past 3 years, they would have seen a lot later finishes in the Play-offs.

Basically these next few games could go either way so this will be exciting!!!
