I didn't plan on selling him after the deadline. That was a mistake. But I want to know if I can fix it by re-buying it...

if u buy your player from transfer list, game shape is decreasing. that means he is considered as a new player. i think in that situation he can not play in playoffs. but maybe nobody will make an offer, and he can stay in your team, in that case you can put him in playoffs.
