11-33 free throws explain a lot, don't they?

Precisely. It's especially unfortunate to have an inside offense focusing on a player who shoots 3-17 from the line.

You had played LI-M2M in both league games up to that point. Your opponent gambled on you doing it a third time, and it paid off for him. You might have had a chance to win that game had you mixed things up with say, a Motion offence. Likewise in the opening league game of the season, you got the tactic prediction completely wrong and took the L for it. It's not so much a game shape issue as it is you getting burned by the new tactic options...

The new system favours balanced teams methinks. Sure, LI is still king overall, but now it's a LOT, LOT easier to counter so you can't rely on it as much as you used to be able to. Perhaps Jump Range will finally be useful again, if only to be able to run the outside offences properly? I'm sure you know a lot about Jump Range, shoei ;).

NAme of your tactic is "Look inside". Yet your SF chucked 10 threes. What this tells me is your SF's JS is much higher than IS, which is not good considering what type of tactic did you employ. + his 17k SF outplayed yours by a mile, which tells me your SF doesn't have good ID.

So as far as SF spot goes, you completely missed the position.

can you assume that the his game wasnt influence by the crunch and he was able to guess right on his GDP

i was thinking my inside game was going to well so he tried doing something from the outside to help relieve the pressure in the inside. that is why my team jack up 25 shots from downtown and not hitting much.

aside from the crazy fouls by the way, i think the ref during the game was surnamed donaghy. the ft disparity is maybe the reason i lost.

im frustrated . . .

thanks for the reply by the way , appreciate it

The FT disparity certainly did not help, but when you take 34 more shots than your opponent and make fewer baskets, it's near impossible to win. Basically, you had a relatively low number of assists for an LI offense with 99 shots, and your opponent had a large number of assists. The effort and home court could have helped with that, as could a disparity in secondary skills.

Crunch time and GDP influenced it somewhat, but not by that much.

I doubt you appreciate my reply as you disregard it completely by saying you had a good inside game. Sorry but you didn't. Not only did your SF have a bad game, so did your C. 31k C outplayed by 10k C? Something's seriously wrong here. You are debating about outside pressure and whatnot without even thinking about skills of your players being inappropriate in the first place.

It would be really interesting to see IS of your SF and C. I bet they are much too low for a LI tactic. Maybe you should start there.

i know i know, i f***ed up on the GDP I was thinking they were gonna princeton it, so I half guessed hoping I'd at least get half right, and if I got half wrong well, i hoped it wouldn't be too bad. obviously, it was.

Now, THE WTF IS

If you tune into the game, and go all the way to overtime...

WTF MY COACH PUTS ALL THE BACKUPS IN, AND THEY TOTALLY RUINED MY GAME.

They also ruined it in the 3rd and 4th, giving up leads, particularly Stratford and Loften (rookies)

IF THEY DON'T GOT THE EXP, Why put them on the spot in OT???

This is the bull**** that I don't get about the GE.
