Blue side seems to have under performed this season - but I doubt any side in the red half is bored; they're all fighting for something.

Thanks. What a match!

After losing my talented starting SF in the last match, my HK national team point guard got injured trying to make a buzzerbeater at halftime, so my 12k backup played the second half. Luckily Kashin was a man on a mission to avenge last year's league loss (I probably would have won if he wasn't injured in the last few seconds on the 2nd finals match). 40 point 22 rebounds, including 7 offensive rebounds...what a great day he had.

Hats off to Worse Warriors for guessing my strategy, challenging me with depth, keeping it close even when my Loon was playing, and making a nice run to close the gap after I threatened to pull away in the 3rd. Ultimately, it came down to the final few seconds (you tied it with a 3 pointer with under 20 seconds to play, but Kashin slammed home the game winner with 2 seconds to play. It might have come down to Kashin outlasting your Centre in the fouls category -- both had 5 late in the game, but your's fouled first. Your backup just couldn't match Kashin.

Thanks for a great challenge this year. Looking forward to representing you all in the B3.

18-4 looks like underestimation right now!!!

Yeah hopefully. I'm surprised at how many teams seem to have given up so early, I thought once I went out of the cup early I'd be getting turned over due to low enthusiasm but its been a cake walk mostly, same as for you. Playoffs are gonna be a different story for me though.

Congrats to Wazungu on your cup win too.

Yes, given our early cup exits, the door to the EBBL title is more open than usual for playoff second seeds.

Well done on the victory mate. Much better that you represent us in B3 than my team which needs some serious strengthening.

Congrats to Phoenix Warriors on making the playoffs in their debut EBBL campaign.
Commiserations to Adogs on the drop. All the best to those battling for survival.
How well the Wazzers do attempting to concede HCA in two out of three playoff rounds is something I'll be very interested to see. Both superhands and my lot have been out of the cup for a while and have key players either injured or struggling for game shape after injury. They also have to beat Ashington first, which is no gimme.

Game on!

Well, that's the end of my season.

It was really over the minute Los Mikitos took me out of the cup. It was my only real hope for the season and without the extra income my season was over (my fault for not living within my means!).

Anyway, time to get rid of some of my ageing squad, but without much money in reserve I could be in for a bit of a struggle to replace them!

Best of luck to everyone left in it. Elmacca's boys are certainly the favourites, but truth of the matter is, all four are still in with a decent shot at it.
