I do not dismiss the fact that they can be useful. However, my point remains valid. It is just like real life, you can succeed by hard work. If you take shortcuts, it might benefit you in the short run, but a better understanding and not just relying on tools will improve your skills. Before you start pouting again, I will reiterate that it can help, but that you probably won't get the biggest picture. It seems many people use a specific program and work from there, thus having multiple people which are using the exact same strategy, making their actions predictable and giving an advantage to others that can improve the results from such programs.
The above is all based on the belief that the programs and facts they produce are mostly correct, which they probably are, but will never be fully proven. Hence my point.
