I'm in league full of bots and I love because I only have 33k salary and will go undefeated. I can focus on training and expanding my arena. I'm not investing in the draft because I prefer to buy trainees because drafting one you must get really lucky. 10k a week should be max what you do with scouting. Save your money!

Training is a nice way to stay involved/excited about the game despite an all-bot league. Another way to stay involved is by joining the offsite and interacting with other USA managers and perhaps get involve in the U21 discussions as well.

I managed another team that went broke because of some gambles

... investing $40k in the draft will do that

I would definitely invest in the draft if you are in an all bot league. Bots pick randomly so even if you go undefeated chances are you can get a good player.

10k is the highest I would go in all situations investing in the draft as well. 3 or 4 draft points just cost too much.

If you are only team in league you will have a really good chance of getting best or at least top 3 draft in that league. I would advice you to take the gamble and spend on the draft then. I got a HoF with top salary from my Utopian league. At least if he had been in a country with national teams I would have had a huge sum for him. Even if few gets such enormous talents there still is a good chance to get a Superstar or better potential with a nice starting skills. They surely are worth to spend $10k a week to have during the season.

Remember that bot teams are really poor in picking players so even if you pick last you are likely to have one of your top 3 choices and chances are quite good of having your first choice.

If you have a young team you surely will benefit from having three excellent draft players. Playing them 48 minutes in one game in training position each week is working most of the time. Trust me I have done so past 10 seasons or so. Why waste a training position when not necessary?

Not to be rude. but his chances of getting a 5/5 A is really slim.. Cant have it all with a unbeaten record.

That's the part no one knows.. No one knows where the 5/5 pick is going. that is why said it a slim chance... Im my opinion he can do that if he want too(gambles), its league 5. he has options.
