Well, first off, I don't think we will ever really lose our high level of play. I think even if we would completely forget about the NT all together we would still see several great players getting trained. However, we won't be forgetting about It haha.

I think one of the biggest things we have to do is maintain the community so that there is great communication. Part of that is also getting others involved that may not have been in the past. With great communication comes more effective training as well as GS management. Also, just because Magiker is no longer the NT manager doesn't mean that players don't play the same or our pipeline is any different. Our pipeline is still growing with the great work of the scouts over the last several seasons and communication between Magiker and the owners. So to answer you question, I think we maintain our high level of play by maintaining the high level of communication between everyone.

I don't see USA crashing any time soon, even with some key players getting up there in age, new blood is always arriving.

The key part, and Isaiah touched on it, is communication. In the gameplanning thread I only saw maybe 6 guys discussing it over with Magiker. NT interest has dwindled and is at a minimum. Maybe y'all got complacent with that gold trophy hehe(Seriously, I think most are shy/don't want to post in case they are wrong, in other words intimidated, even though the offsite group are very friendly and helpful). But I think the community(myself included) should become a bigger part in providing feedback/discussing with the manager(s/o to those that currently do, you guys deserve some serious praise). Seriously sign up on the offsite, we don't bite(maybe A-Dub but it's more nibbling than biting).

I second Mountain Eagles' question:

With magiker (arguably the best coach USA ever had) gone, what will you do in order to maintain USA's high level of play, and perhaps another gold trophy?

To add to that, why are you the best fit for this position?

I'll have a (player) standard to meet certain criteria and skills. Plus I know what skills are needed for each player position that are important for each player to have.

Heading on the right path so far. Are you?

First of all, I've help people understand there role or job as a basketball player on the court since I was 14. I have some experience with roles and key players that I've help train successfully. I have a lot of time on my hands, so even if I find a job it wont be a problem for under 21.

For all candidates

What makes you fit to run this the national team? Are you a good communicator ? Have you been part of the set up or helped in past seasons?

Lumping this with DJ's Q.

I'm never much involved in gameplanning aside from a couple bits and pieces every season(u21 garnered my attention more). Where I really helped out was in being a scout for several several seasons(guess that can count for good communicator).

Best Fit: I don't think there is a best fit. I think everyone brings more of the same i.e experience, understanding of BB, open to discussion(a must imo, this is an excruciating task). I guess one thing that could seperate me from the rest, how much attention I'll pay(not saying the others won't, I just personally ponder a decision 25/7, is that a good thing? Well you guys are the voters.) Won't include anything related to the club level as NT is a whole different beast.

I mean right now unbiasly I don't see a best fit right now, as the debate grows you guys'll determine based on the responses. tbh right now you can't go wrong with Ram,Isaiah or me. No disrespect to the other candidates, I just know these guys are very knowledgeable and have been around for a while.

Just an FYI, this election is only for the NT, not the U21 NT. if you want to enter that go to the USA election central and add yourself to the list
