For me these players with 140 TSP should NEVER be free agent. It is good that if the creator hated BB/failed at BB so much to quit the game their player should not remain. WHy shoudl we have their player when the person that quit....quit???

That paragraph makes no sense. It is completely illogical.

Those multiskilled players still cost more to train than buy. Atleast nowadays you can train profitable in someways.

I have to second this post - and agree with Wolph on some points. Even though the prices on the market are extremely high at the moment and I don't find a suitable (young) player to complete my team, I'm against inserting too many FAs into the market. I've always liked training a lot more than finding and buying players on the TL and I grow attached to my players so that it's really hard to sell them even though it makes perfect sense from an economic point of view. But the main thing that I like about this game is the long-term planning. And that's a lot harder if you have either to train players to your liking or raise enough money to buy the 150 TSP-monsters ...

and to the original post/ suggestion: would the player not become a FA if he was called up to the NT? If he was important enough, you could save him, couldn't you? (I'm just not sure if that still works, even though I've translated quite a few news, the setting for FAs have been changed quite a lot - which also leads to some confusion and that's another reason why I'd be against another change in the FA-policy ...)

I find it crazy that any player does not make free agency. In a time where people complain about a lack of players and players being too expensive, we should let any player under 33 hit the free market with the exception of the untrained ones.

This would lead to a sudden collapse, which would be pretty bad and demotivating. Raising the FA numbers steadily would be the best.
