defensively he is generally assigned on the least threatening opposition and I try to hide him as much as possible using various zone defenses - but yeah, there will be (quite a lot of) times he can't stop anyone and the opponent keeps attacking him. The game then turns into a "who scores 120 points first" shootout and if I loses, I just have to accept that was a better team with players more well rounded. :)

IIRC, he reached his potential at around 24, I continued to train his IS to around 28 year old.

Very interesting, i have 2 P.allstar potential trainees who are likely gonna cap this season.
Maybe i should keep training them for another season or 2.

cool... please let me know how the training speed go if you do go on that route. Ding started to show significant slow down (more than double the time required between pop than I otherwise expect) in his 3rd season after cap. I'm wondering whether that's the universal speed after capping out.

Potential is like 9.2. If what he says is true, he trained 2.2 to 1.2 levels of potential through the soft cap...
