Id say the injury detailing is in its infancy... i hope :D
...But two weeks.. rare but it does happen. Salmonella or Rota virus for example. That shouldve been a flagrant foul.

I'm just curious. I've noticed that you have added a new layer to the injury listing on the player page, but it's a little baffling:

1. How does one catch a stomach virus from a foul in a basketball game?

2. What type of stomach virus takes two weeks to recover from?

3. If a player catches a virus from another during a foul situation, wouldn't the person committing the foul also have the virus and therefore not be able to compete?

The player committing the foul had a reasonably harmless elbow virus, but when he elbowed the opponent in the stomach when trying instead to target the groin, it became a stomach virus for that player. Good thing the elbow missed, because being out 3-4 weeks with crotch rot would be really unfortunate.

Sir that sounds about what like our pal experienced a few weeks back. What I think we have here is failure communicate. These doctors are often foreigners and just don't have the vocabulary to communicate what is going on. That is why a ruptured stomach lining is described as a stomach virus or a lacerated spleen is verbalized as a "sore back".

IDEA: Make 3 types of injuries. Severe injuries are what we see today, but a lot less frequent. Minor injuries turn to a "de-buff" and will drop a players skills. For example, Player A can get a medium wrist injury lowering his Jump Shot, Jump Range, Handling, Free Throw and Stamina by 2 for 2 weeks. Player B gets a minor ankle injury and lowers his Stamina, OD and ID by 1 for 1 week, etc. (Or a stomach virus lowering stamina).

This would allow you to continue to play injured players (sometimes - when not severely injured).

Thanks, but that's why I posted this in the English help forum. My gripe is that they have time to add meaningless stuff like this, but not fix the glaring error regarding length of time missed due to injury.

Sorry, glaring error may be the wrong term. Design flaw would fit better.
