We're looking into this, and we'll see what we can do. At a first glance, this seems like a bug, and I think WallyOop has the right idea as to what happened. It's on our list of things to do for today's Bug Fix Day, and I'll keep you posted with what we find.

I think that longer team you should prevent walkovers:

1) No roster can be reduced to less than 10 players. If current sales would reduce your roster to 10, you can't fire or transfer list a player.

To avoid teams getting trapped with a negative balance and not being permitted to sell, always allow a minimum bid ($1000 or $5000) when the roster is less than 12 players.

2) If the lineup for a game is less than 10 players, randomly select healthy players from the roster. If this is not sufficient due to injuries, generate a player with an amateur contract, with inept or worse skills and announcer potential.

i think the best way to counteract this is maybe by implementing a fine or penalty.

lets just say for example in the nba or i think philippine basketball rules must or requires team to have minimum number of players listed on their teams and every game they have to sign in at 12 or 15 players before the start of the game.

this is different than looking for another good player and when signed they relegate someone to the nbdl or just buy their contract. i think they just have to have fill up that roster whether you play it or not.

to us its like you have 15 players yes! but when making the lineup onb a certain game you got to have that minimum number of player. so as to avoid such problems
if you dont well its fine ! you just get penalized :D that way we still get to see a game

thats why they have reserves to jump in the bench anytime if one or 2 players are on the injured list.

just my sentiments
