Yes Orgram I think you worked well with Takagi and Takuda for U21 and now, when you are training them for the NT.
And it's very difficult to train U21 and NT at the same time. But it's a good exemple that NT Players can be former U21s.

Yes, It's not comparable, Spain has 1145 teams when Japan has only 16! For 1 season, It's more than 3000 draftees, and just 48 for Japan! And how many will go to U21 and NT? In Japan 5 or 6 U21 and finally none, or1 or 2 for NT.

My only goal with this project is to interest more Japanese managers to train national players, and I know you are 4 or 5 japanese managers to do it but With 2 or 3 more managers, it's 4, 5, 6 or more players more.

Sure, I understand Yellow Cake, he even got impressive results with the U21. He wants to pick the best he can and to win all the games.

What I mean is we have only 16 teams and maybe only 4 o 5 who are active. So we only have maybe 1 good player for the NT every 2 or 3 seasons. Even if he trains 1vs1 Fs only and for the U21 is useless, maybe it is better for us to prioritize that players with NT potential and giving them the extra experience.

By the way Yellow Cake, take a look (50574246), around 50 sos. I sold him weeks ago. He was pretty decent and his manager is a friend of mine. He will receive proper training

Thanks. He is already on my radar. In fact, when I cut the 21 year olds, I will be picking him up.

At first he looks nice ... 18, HoF, a future NT with a good training plan ;-)

I'm happy that I have opened debate about training for Japan players but I would like more managers to participate at this debate.

NT and U21 teams are currently heavily dependents on foreign managers who are less interesting to keep them or to train them when their salaries are high. At final, it's a problem in order to have top players.

Here is a new observation on Japanese players, keeping only players who are 27 years old or less:
- 12 players with 100 or more TSP. 6 are in Japanese teams (5 differents)
- 6 players are above 120 and 5 of them are in Japanese teams (4 differents)
What do you think about it?

With my Utopia team I buy at the moment 2 Japanese players who are FP and have 19, there non top players at the moment.
In near future, I will try to have 6, with 18 or 19 years old and who are Franchise Player at least.

I will open a new topic where you can follow their progress until the end of their 21 years, and where everyone can post the progress of their young players.

It is a big problem that japanese players may not be training well but it is quite difficult to pay a 130 skills player salary if you are not in top league or II. I am right now in III with only 1 +130 skills player, and 2 +120 skills players and I am loosing money every week even if I win every game.

It is easier to have players with huge salaries in countries where you do not have so much competition. Maybe thats is why many japanese players are still in japanese teams

I try to draft a new Japanese player for development to the NTs every 3 seasons. I can only really train three players at a time and also be competitive. I would usually try to have 1 player 19-21yo, 1 player 22-24yo, 1 player 25-28yo.

Iseki is the old one, Takishida is the younger one. The middle one is missing because I had a bad draft that cycle.

I have saved up a bunch of draft points and will try to get another one this off season. When Iseki is no longer trainable I could try to buy one to make a third.

What about players that have a TSP of 110?
U-27
100 TSP= ?
110 TSP= ?
120 TSP= ?

Same observation today about players who are 27 years old or less:

Iseki turn 28 this season so he is no longer in this list but still trained.

- 16 players with 100 or more TSP. 8 are in Japanese teams (6 differents)
- 6 players are above 120 and 4 of them are in Japanese teams (3 differents)
- 3 or 4 players are between 110 and 120.

I think 4 or 5 more players could be in this list very soon

Good
