I just wanted to express my support for this idea. Penko was a much-appreciated and respected manager in our community. With his posts he made many of us connect with the forums and the NT world, making the community better and stronger. He also contributed to making the forums a healthier place in times when trolls and fights used to happen every day. His loss was a major shock for most of us...

The LA from Spain are able to rename (change translation) from „Copa de Espana“ to whatever is accepted by thé Spanish community until there is an official decision (if there is an official decision).

Thats not the official way and will not be visible for the rest of the BB-world, but might be suitable …

As a Català LA-, and a good virtual friend with him (we shared a lot of conversations about BB, chess, politics, etc) I want to support the idea of changing the name of the Spanish Cup in order to honor him.
We lived pretty close to one each other so our mother language was Catalan and that's what we spoke. I know that is easy to change the name of the Cup, but I will not do it to Català until there is 100% confirmation from you. If anything wrong happens and BB staff decide to now change anything in a more special way, I'd love to change the name of the Cup at least in his primary language, Català.
