It's purely about cost efficiency. If we take player with JS 20, JR 17, OD 17, IS 7, DR 19 and HA 19 salary is about 148k, but if you change IS to 20, salary is about 151k (salaries from BuzzerManager). IS is free for guards (salary and potential) so if team wants to be competitive and salary efficient, pure SG with only JR but no inside skills doesn't really make sense.

Yeah I know people do, but I don’t. Motion is very viable nowadays in BB and in my tier list video I had it ranked at the top with LI. It is much cheaper to have less JR though and in most situations I’m never wanting JR above 13-14.

20 JS/12 JR
20 OD and atleast 16 IS.

Lithuania second division. If you want to win of course.
Dont know about 15 OD's... or 15 JS people talking here.

Cost efficient as in TSP/salary or stats/salary?

I kinda expected that. Sadly stats/salary is a poor indicator of actual cost efficiency. It's like that one time where this guy from a bot laden div II asking me to call up his barely trained 21 year old SG because "I need a player who can perform off the bat" and his player was leading the league in points. The reason I didn't call him up was because his skill levels were just equivalent to a 5 ball 19 year old draftee. Wouldn't even make the bench for the U21.

Cost efficiency actually means being able to squeeze in as many TSP as you can and still keep the salary low. You can't use stats as a measure because it is affected by a lot of other external factors: defenders it face, game shape etc. If your player has 1 good season and 1 bad season after that, does that mean it turned from a very cost efficient player to a one with low cost efficiency? That's why we don't measure it with stats.

I fully arree with you in that. I have on my squad a clear example of that, my backup SG its a 96 TSP with OD 15 ID 9 and JS 12 IS 10 for 12k salary. Is he leading my team in anything? No, but he is really cost efficient. But if a player does crazy stats because the rest of his team or the league it’s too week doesnt mean anything.

I'm just here to help you get an answer to your question of why people go for such builds by explaining what people here normally mean when they say cost efficiency. If you wanna stick to your own special definition, that's not my problem.
