I think BB changed rules because of me. There was a season where I tanked in I. and I scouted the entire league, there was 0 players with 5* potential...
It is very difficult, when you plan on drafting, because you can't draft in II. league since it's full of bots, and you get a very low player.
I tried to train 2 of my players before but I did a lot of mistakes and they did not end up that good, I hope I can try to find something this season in the draft, if not I will tank for the next season and then initiate training process.
Otherwise only way to compete at B3 level is for you to tank a few seasons, gather like 15M or 20M in savings, and then build your team around that.
Just look how many 160TSP players were available in the transfer list in the last seasons, it's very easy to make a starting team full of 160 TSP players and spend less than 8-10M in total. But you have to plan well. Shot blocking bigs are the new wave and they are very useful since most of the time they have lower salaries, like around 150k but they perform like 250k bigs so you can offset that salary you are saving and invest in other positions. With merchandise nowadays it is possible to have a 1M+ team even in Africa without nationals, but you have to be lucky that your players are in the leaderboard table, and more you have to be lucky that they perform well enough to be in top global rankings so you have optimal intake.
Even so, I have a moldovan national that I have trained in the last seasons, he's not in the leaderboards, he's not from Egypt, but look how much merch he gives me:
Vasile Cebotari $ 68 264
He would probably be close to 80k in merch if he was in leaderboards, and then you have all star week that boosts merch even more, so taking advantage of these thin margins can help you plan for a B3 campaign. It's important that you are knowleadgeable of all these details, but also of the match engine, current top tactics, current top builds, you cannot compete in B3 with a 250k guard who has 22 JS, 22 OD, but 11 IS.
