I am relatively new in the game, but I can tell you what I do.
I calculate the score of a player for a certain position and then multiply it by GS/10.
I ignore stamina, since I have nice back-ups, and stamina ratings are OK and usually I give my coach free hand in the game. Thus, less stamina would mean less minutes and not necessarily lower ratings.
I don't bring in the experience as a factor in the calculation, only try to make sure that in each point of the game there would be at least one player with high experience.
A. I am not sure that my approach to experience is correct. I have no evidance that one player with high experience is better than 2 with mediocre experience, but this is my assumption.
B. As for GS - I must say that my impression so far is that my calculating system slightly overrates GS and I intend to update it when I have more data
