its a combination of star rating and a aggregate fantasy basketball type scoring system across the major statistical categories... the exact formula has been different for both season 1 and season 2 as we are always finding ways of driving Juice insane by denying his incredible PF

Fixed that for you.

Is there a way to not have players from bot teams on the All Star team next season? No one cares about them anyway (except when they go FA).

Also maybe something like MLB/NFL (?) where each (nonbot) team would get at least one.

These things may not be fair but at least it keeps all owners interested on it.

I guess its obvious that I didn't get anyone selected huh.Ü

If the bot teams have the best players, they should be there.

On a side note, if the bot teams have the best players, that may be an indication that the conference is not that strong.

NFL doesn't have the rule.

There are 10 All-Star spots, and 8 teams in each conference.

I don't think it's fair for each team to have a guaranteed spot. Then you have the Best of Each Team's Game, not the All-Star Game.

I got you but I'm tied for 2nd (3rd really) in my league at 9-4. I want to have 15 players who play in a system that gets wins but don't give each player eye-popping stats. Well its not really all-star producing system so I shouldn't expect to have any. Oh well. Don't mind me then.. just venting.. which I think is all I am doing in these Forums..Ü

Edit: Thanks Juice..

I'm in artryx's league and share his concern about bot players getting the all-star slots. (Especially since the league's leading scorer got shafted in favor of 2 bot team players, but I digress...)

Sure, we should have the best of the best in the ASG, and not assure a team of a rep, but, why not give preference to players from managed teams? The ASG is for the enjoyment of the users, nothing more, so why not?

In the formula for creating the All-Star roster, perhaps a point(or half point) deduction for bot team players would do the trick.

Just something to think about.

I`m to lazy to start a new tread som i´ll just put it here since its about the all star game.

I think the players selected for an all-star game should get a notice about it in their player history. Its after all something to brag about:-)
