Many seats at low prices do make more money than few seats at high prices.

That might be true. But every seat you build takes a full season on maximum prices until you break even. If you take average prices such as you suggest it takes two seasons. From this moment onwards the seat brings return but the other seats (those that you had before) bring less return as you need to lower prices to fill them all. On top of this: what happens if you are promoted to a higher league and yyou lose more games - again you need to lower the prices...

My conclusion: you have to look at profit, not just at income

if you go to a higher division, you probably get more season ticket holders, plus you are playing teams with a higher number of season ticket holders as well, so you are probably more likely to fill seats anyway.

I did promote this season and I do sell more tickets even though I lose games. Last year I made about 80k+ $ per game now its approximately 130k+ with around 1000 more seats. So I think its definitely worth it especially (as I said before) when you're heading a long term strategy.
I can tell more next month when my next arena expansion is done and I lowered my prices again. (And have lost more games;))

I agree with all of the above - the only thing I am saying is:

First rise the prices, than the volume.

This is part of my long-term strategy. If you start playing (which I am doing in the 2nd season), you are lacking resources at all ends. I want high-value trainees. A competitive team in the non-training positions. Good staff. Lots of bottlenecks.

You need to see the opportunity costs - what could I have done with the money I invested into seats (with average prices) and how much would this return? I expect to make the big money when I sell off some of my trainees.
