Anyways, imagining how you would react if the BBs implement this extension to the roles makes me want to see it quickly.

With me, Holland would have won the world cup, and Ajax would be the world team to beat

How i would react, well fire the guys who ask for more minutes but do not have the skills to do so
Hire some new offcourse cause i fear there would be a lot off changes.....

if it aint broke than dont fix it,
if it is made and doesnt work: scrap it.

iam not saying the idea is a mistake but how many managers asked for a system like this?
how many people are complaining about it
so why is it still there?

My KEY players, who i trained 2 seasons are roleplayers while there WINNING games, 1 championchip, 1 4thplace en now im up for the championship again and BUZZERBETA calls them role players....

The idea is to identify how the players are being used in league games this season. They're being identified as rotation players (or whatever else) based upon their usage this season in league games. It's not a description of their skills; if you have a very skilled player who isn't playing, he'll have a role corresponding to his lack of playing time.

Which player(s) do you think we are misidentifying? The reason it's called BuzzerBeta is that we're still trying to do a better job of identifying usage (OK, fine, and because it's a good pun).

The MVP award is a reflection of who gets enough league time & because of the cup and the way minutes have to be balanced I just can't see how this feature will help anyone if it is just based again on league minutes.

Any team with cup aspirations may have their best players hardly playing minutes in the league OR at best only playing 1 in 2 (which if they miss 1 game means they fall off the leaderboards for Points, Assists & Rebounds. So you could have your best player now not in contention for the MVP award + showing as back up player if managed by a successful cup team.

Or am I missing something? Why link just to league matches? Why not all competitive games?

Here, I'll take the opportunity to state for the second time how I love this idea that is BuzzerBeta ! It's great news, we are promised new features every now and then and we will test them. It sounds great.

I can't understand all the fuss with the roles. Don't use them if you don't like them. It's not required for your gameplay. Ignore it. It harms none. It does nothing. It's just there for those who think it's fun.

Oh but please continue the criticism, some of the arguments used have so much bad faith in them, it's a sunshine in my cloudy and snowy sky. Thank you BB-managers :)

Devs, you know those who like it won't come and say it, well most of them... People complain, people are conservative, especially the older members ;p People want change and when change comes, they cry foul, they feel unsecure ;p

Keep the new features coming ! We all need a big kick in the ass !

Now to balance things out, I'll come back next week and whine a bit too (on my coach certainly, I hate him, I have always hated him).
