so it should be more interesting cause every team is giving the same amount of money to get roster but the build of the team would win the B3 but it would suck if the salary was 1 dollars above the cap or if you trained one week and the salary went above the cap

Yeah a cap would add a twist to the game making teams even and therefore better competition

Im just using a fake scenario but , say if they put the cap on a teams money at ... lets just say $6m for an example ? If we get to $5.99m on tuesday and we have a home game , what would happen to our money if we already had basically $6m and were still getting more cash from trades and games? Would it just go to waste even though we earned that money ?

I dont like the idea of the cap going by division because I have seen teams who have been in V. leagues for the entire career and have a arena with 15k seats or more which lets me know they could have tanked but instead they put there money to a goo use and still competed while getting large revenue AND still compete in their league. But in conclusion I wouldnt mind having a cap but if the BB community were to vote on it, I wouldnt vote.

In the nba the only thing keeping teams from acquiring the usa team onto a club team is a cap. so it could help BB get tougher competition amongst teams

I'm all for a salary cap to prevent these all star teams from forming but I dunno about a bank account cap, it's too restrictive.

I've thought about these ideas and honestly it seems hopeless. If a team has 30, 40+ million there would have to be such an obscene tax % it would create all kinds of other issues. The imbalance has been created and ignored, there's not really any easy solution at this point.

I don't love the idea of a cap, but its interesting. FWIW, im running close to 1m payroll and losing at most 100k per week. When you get to the 1.25m+ range it gets beyond the point that its feasible for most teams to even try to compete. That would be the range I'd consider a cap, maybe a soft cap with a hard 1.5m cap after that. Those just seem like good round numbers. If a good 800-1m range team, run reasonably fiscally sound operations, makes a run to the knockouts its feasible to consider adding a player for the stretch run, which happens a lot in real life.
