How can you guys manage that, wow! I haven't really have a draftee with a role in my team since.. ever. Last year I was tanking and had 1, 1! drafter player in the starting five.

However there is a team in my league that seems to be doing just fine with homegrown players (114009)...
I don't think the manager is very active since he doesn't change a lot of the tactics and players have bad game shapes, but damn that's a nice looking team otherwise.

Edit: He did buy two players 7 years (YEARS, not seasons) ago but sold them shortly after. Since then he is in 7,5 million profit from sales, also he hasn't upgraded his arena much so i'm guessing he has to have over 20 millions in the bank right now, that's scary!

Well he did get it up to 7700 seats and he set his prices really high (almost I.-division-high)... Also usually stays in the cup for some time and is playing since 2008. I don't see any reason he wouldn't have enormous amounts of money :)

Wow, he's playing since season 3!

It would be fun to see the list of the richest clubs in BB. As for this guy, I think he might have over 30 million minimum(1 million per season isn't much to make if you don't pay much salaries, regardless of arena size)

Hi all, I just restarted to BB. I've already played this game before, but not so much. I also played Hattrick for seasons competitively so I'm not very unfamiliar to BB too.

I'm going to play with only home-grown players, but add me to the list 1 year later because at the moment I don't have anyyhing special with my team :)

Anyways, I see that list of draftees but I know nothing about draft strategies in this game. So I think I need a mentor on draft strategies. Since we are all home-grown teams, drafts are like the most important moment for us so I don't want to make any mistakes this season. Anyone want to give me tips and strategies about what to do?
