For sake of competition, attracting new teams to BB and giving new teams a chance to be more competitive also for a better BB in the long run shouldn't utopia teams be placed in a tier of their own?

I mean every utopian team would take a spot for new or struggling teams to improve their finances and participate in something meaningful while also giving them experiencie

Thus utopian teams should battle only themselves in their own tier for more realism as well

That's low margin of mistake, especially that 3 or 4 games will be played away. I would prefer to play the first round on the neutral ground, and then, play the cup stage with home-away system.

On the other hand i'm a bit confused, that after 2nd round 256 teams won't have a chance to play in cup stage (and half of the competing teams after 3rd round.
Below is the breakdown of results round by round:

It's a rough competition but I think it just adds to it's attractiveness. If we wanted that every 5-2 team makes the cup stage, there would need to be just 128 teams per tier. So I think 1024 is better than that option.

Of course the amount could be something in between but then it would always come to points difference. Personally I'm not a fan of points difference being the deciding factor whether the team makes it to the cup stage or not, since it favours offensive teams.

I understand that after 2 losses you won't have a chance to get to the cup stage but at least there is always the prize money to play for.

Maybe it would be a good idea to consider ranking teams participating in BBM on top 5 (6-7-8) players' salaries accumulation at the time of the draw, instead of WR.

Although some managers might still wait for the draw and then buy a player or two, I believe this will be a much more accurate approach to grouping teams of similar strength together.

I also find it reasonable. Apart tier/competition for Utopia teams. 👍

i can't see why this is reasonable. utopian teams are teams like any others, they are connected to the rest of the BB world though the market and they make more or less money depending on which division they are playing. the idea of BB madness is for teams to play against their equals worldwide, this should include utopia

The answer is obvious, maybe because utopia teams are 2nd teams not the main team? There are loads of teams who aren't utopian, why should second teams steal the place of users who only have one team? You'd still have your competition between utopian teams on their own tier.

To give you a clear example of what I'm saying why do you think that utopian teams have a league of their own? For Buzzerbeater own good and if the admins want to bring more new teams to BB you can't have utopian teams in it, it wouldn't make any sense and it would only hinder single team users game experience and progress.

Utopian teams playing against real teams wouldn't make any f n sense to be honest. That's the idea of utopia, the very essence of it a league that is not interacting with the 'real world'.

Mate, u really got it all wrong. Utopian teams DO interact with the 'real world' in almost every way possible - transfers, B3, scrimmages, private leagues etc. The only thing Utopia doesn't have is a national team.

In your line of thought u should probably start by complaining why they are in on B3 for starters...

Those utopian teams are not stealing your spot in BBM. Everyone's in on it. In fact the presence of utopian teams will even make your BBM tier just a tiny bit more balanced and you will still get the same money for participation that you would even if utopian teams were in a league of their own. The prize money is the same for every tier!

Perhaps I worded it wrong I spoke about the league in itself, as alluding to competitions in the general sense of it.

Don't mix utopian teams with the 'real' teams in any competition that is my point, thank you.

Very understandable... I too am not that proficient in expressing my though in English Language... maybe next time you can insert the Link from the Game FAQ or Manual on what the Utopian Teams are really meant to the game...

Your concern for the non-Utopian Teams seems understandable.... but including the Utopian Teams to the BBM will make the BB-World Ranking Competition be more balance and logical... that to give the Utopian Teams a different BBM Tournament... It kinda doesn't make sense... at least for some of us.

Please don't misinterpret my words, never have I said that it should be given a diferent BBM tournament for the utopian teams

What I suggested is that in the SAME tournament these utopian teams have their own tier where utopian team plays only vs utopian team.

Imagine

1st tier
2nd tier
3rd tier
4th tier
5th tier
6th tier
7th tier
.....
12th tier
Utopia Tier

The champion of utopia could still technically advance to the finals or any other stage to battle a 'real' team, altough only the champion would be able to do this
