We are not so far to the best teams. Good Test!

Our NT is going to play one more very strong game, this time against the USA, American champion.
This is our last friendly game before the championship, I hope to get the clearer picture of people traveling as squad members in the WC.

I am going to write the report after the training tomorrow.

Yeah, I know about that, and I help him keeping update the under 21 players. Btw I've already made a personal database with all the 18-19-20-21yo only for me. At the end of the season I'll pass all the information about these 21yo to the NT coach so he'll have a lighter work to do :)

Our NT today played one more friendly game, this time against USA. We lost by 11 points in excellent match by both teams :

They started amazingly, winning first quarter by 16 points. However, our guys showed excellent team spirit and were just trailing by 5 points before the last quarter.
Unfortunately, we lost by 11 points. Anyway, comparing this small BB community of Misr with the USA, by far the largest BB community, the loss by 11 points really seems negligible.

I think we are going to find out the name of rivals for the WC tomorrow.

Damn, got to get Ibrahim into a better shape this week. He looked nice with GS7 tonight, but we both know what he's capable to do with a higher shape ;-)

Of course, his high GS might be crucial for us in the following tournament. Luckily, those previous games were just friendlies. Even though his GS was 7, he was terrorizing American giants with better game shapes.

Every group consists of two continental champions, two runner-ups and two teams coming through Repechage.
My "ideal" group is put in bold. As you see, no group is ideal group, though. Every single team is stronger than us and we have to be satisfied if we achieve one victory. I will do my best not to disappoint you.

So guys, here are our opponents for the World Cup which is going to take place in Greece :

I was wrong about two of our opponents, we got Spain instead of China and Poland instead of Canada. These two teams are by far the best in this group, in my opinion. However, I wrote our opponents by our schedule so we have some reasons to be satisfied since our most difficult opponents come first.
I think that we are capable of winning at least one match here.
Of course, I am going to write an introduction before every single match.

Please, take care of players' game shapes and give them proper training regularly.

So, the WC 22 starts today in Greece. The strongest BB championship in the world is going to last until the end of the season and luckily, it won't take place without Egypt. Our first fixture in this tournament, after missing the last one in Peru, will bring Spain as our opponent. I think the loss here is inevitable but the positive aspect of this match at the beginning is the option to prepare for the other fixtures later. Anyway, I'll write a short summary of our today's opponent.

Spain (España) is a real BB giant whose online community was established in Season 3 already. Today, it's one of the most important and successful countries in BB history with 2 WC titles, 2 WC finalist titles, 4 continental champion titles and 2 continental finalist titles. These are really impressive successes, 10 important titles (without semifinals) in 19 seasons of existing. They came here as a European champion, beating Slovakia in the finals by 14 points. The people from Spain expect huge win (40+ points of difference). I hope that we'll show them that African champion has something to offer, too.

When it comes to our team, Abdullah Hamdan Al-Hussain got injured on Saturday and he will be unable to help his teammates in the following 2 weeks. All the others are waiting for the match with very good game shapes and fit for the game. It's up to me to send the best lineup to the court. Guys had one training at the morning, probably training defense which is very important characteristic of our style. It's important to remember that "Offense wins games, defense wins championships."

I would like to invite you to join me on chat to watch the clash against Spain at 19.30. There will be a lot of Spanish managers and I don't want to be alone there.

We are the best!

Our first WC game ended pretty good for us, only -14 against one of the TOP 3 BB teams at the moment. This would be the result I would gladly arrange if I could before the match; but the reality is that we were leading the score until the second half of the third quarter! This high result isn't realistic at all and is produced as a result of lots of missed 3 pointers and easy free throw scores of Spanish players. Anyway, Spanish players deserved the victory here. Our best player was Rahman Omer El-Ibrahim whose GS 8 showed as a huge bonus for us. It would be amazing to have his GS at 9 for the following matches.
After having seen this good game against Spain, I am sure that we will have at least one victory after the first round.

Please, continue taking care of players' game shapes, it might be crucial during the tournament!
