hehe

thats a fishy techniquie to make money..but sadly exist as long as bb exist ..
for me ur nose is smelling on the right target, some chinese teams have alittle bit too much "luck" in selling players ( thats a fact - buying players for 2 millions and selling it for 4 after one season! come on ) but dude! who cares...its the same with that tanking pussy shit, building top players without competition in bot divisions, farming ..... some user put too much in this game in winning a damn comic trophy as its worth

be a patrone cause they invest mucho time for that 1 minute bb fame

bottom line : if someone has the will to cheat and the knowledge, there is always a open door for him! especially in a game made by semi profs like bb..what we can do? hoping wolph is buying BB and dont invite that cheating girls to our next barbecue :D

have fun

I have come to the conclusion that BB volunteer army can not keep up with the seriously demented cheaters.

If they can't stop the cheaters, the next solution is to pretend they don't exist and to keep everyone hush hush about it. People will definitley quit playing if they see/realize that top leagues and teams and NTs etc. are subject to a lot of cheating. So they make sure we coudl never publicly discuss it. Try to keep people in the dark about it atleast. Well this is just how I feel lately.

ding ding ding. We have a winner!

That's exactly what a lot of other online games do once they lose control. The focus shifts to keeping things quiet, & punishing those who dare expose cheating. Instead of punishing the cheaters themselves. One fairly popular game even had to remove their forums entirely! (After the community simply wouldn't stand for the coverup). We'll see if BB follows suit or not... (not removing the forums, but on the other part)

I know of quite a few people that quit BB after becoming aware of what really goes on with some teams. Long-term, BB is really shooting itself in the foot. Think of how many supporters & eventual supporters have quit, all because BB protects non-legitimate users. (even people that publicly admit to cheating aren't always banned)

Why would a new user invest any serious time, effort, or money in BB if they were aware of the true state of things when joining? And why would a current user recommend this game to a friend? Of course if people aren't aware...

1.A master of cheat knows it better than everyone that you should not buy 2 players from the same team
The ones you are banning every day are just noob cheaters

A real newcomer when he has no clue of the game is going to buy a monster with +300k salaries for 188k instead of paying that money for a trash player who`s estimated price is listed of course at 1k

You don`t want to see that because you simply can`t find a shared ip

My final word : You can be lucky finding a young team with no clue for 1 time, 2 time 10 time 100 time but don`t you think its not luck with that much of players transferred this way??

These are all very good points. I don't see how anyone could argue against this in good faith...

(not talking about specific teams, just talking in general. this is definitely going on.).

You underestimate the number of people ready to pay foolish sums

But according to the game manual... that's against the rules??? (you said this is the place to discuss such things)

GAME MANUAL:
It is against BuzzerBeater rules to bid above market rates on a player.
AND
Furthermore, if someone overbids on a player you have posted on the Transfer List, it is YOUR responsibility to report this overbid to the GMs.

BB allows teams to continuously, and DELIBERATELY, list + sell players for non-market rates without consequence. And allows teams to fail to report overbids 20+ times without consequence!!!

A $1k scrub being sold for $200,000 to $700,000 is not market value. Not even close. Unless you want to make a semantic argument that market value is whatever someone is willing to pay. But that means you can't fine anyone... EVER. It means that selling a 30 year old benchwarmer for $10,000,000 is also market value, as someone was willing to pay it.

I think I'm a good GM because I don't ban someone unless he is proven guilty and he still has a chance to appeal after that.

Even criminal court cases have a lower burden of proof than you're requiring. Let alone a civil trial. Circumstantial evidence alone has been enough to give people life in prison. I don't think that requiring a higher burden of proof for cases of BB cheating than for cases of murder makes you a good GM. Sorry. It's one thing to be fair, but another thing to ignore the obvious.

Some teams have even publicly admitted to multiple accounts + illegitimate transfers & still aren't banned. It's beyond a joke. (Not saying that you personally handled those cases)
