LI and LP can be defend by 2-3 straight up < proved
and also by 3-2 < by limiting the touch the inside post players got
the problem most 2-3 zone player got is his ID rating over opponent IS rating and still lose the game
but the rating is highly faked because the SF (usually weaker ID) is placed inside
2-3 works only when ur opponent have an outside player that went inside
2-3 wont work when none of u defender has high enough ID that can match up the opponent's high IS
U don't read too much.
We already have tested 2-3 with a good SF, ID over 11(also OD like 16-17), SG ID over 8 and 2-3 doesn't work. Even if you play with OD's around 15-16 and nice ID, the 2-3 makes you lose lot of OD, you can't stop the inside players(make around 50% of FG), but you also can't stop their outside players.
And i'll repeat,
you can't design a zone that ask you a TOP level skills that only some teams can have, when 3-2 works pretty good with any normal player.
Why this imbalance between zones, why 3-2 is so easy to set and 2-3 is that hard to make it work????
And if BB's wanna leave the 2-3 just for some high ranked teams, then the others managers we deserve a new inside zone that works as 3-2 does but in the inside focus.
