So, I think this is a problem generated by going between Excel and OpenOffice formats. I don't have excel anymore, so I can't fix the .xls file. (If someone with Excel wants to fix the xls file, bb-mail me and I'll give you access to the google doc and you can change it.)

But I will add a link to the .ods file with the correct conditional formatting for those of us who use Open Office.

Google Drive changed the format for their links, so they were broken for a few days. They're fixed now.

I'm calling it quits in BB. But anyone who wants to adapt and update my work is welcome to it. Thanks for using my tool. I hope it was useful.

Your tool is magnificent, or so the ladies say. Good luck in the non-BB world!

It is always a sad day when a long term manager hangs up the boots, made even more so when they have contributed like you have.

Thank you for the simulator and your efforts, good luck with your future endeavors.

Hi,

when i compare estimated training results of your excel-sheet and real training results, there is a huge gap.
example: my 25yo 6´10´´tall center received 1on1 for forward the whole season. he popped from lvl 9 to lvl 10 JS in week 3 and to lvl 11 JS in week 9. the estimated skill lvl of your simulation is 10,55 for this 6 weeks of traininig.
this guy is a very balanced player. may this cause the huge difference?
regards

edit:
one more example: 24 yo 7´1´tall center popped to lvl 6 JS in week 3 and to lvl 7 in week 7. it took only 4 weeks for one JS up.
Estimated weeks of your simulation is 8-9 weeks.

It's based on the training data pulled from the people on the BB training project. It's pretty decent data but I imagine that the number of data points for people training 6'10+ players at age 24+ in one on one is probably low indeed (though I'm there too). I also find that it often underestimates the JS and even IS training from 1v1 FW, but it's close enough that it's still a very useful tool.
