Tonight's opening montage is of the most dramatic moments of playoffs past.

Cue: https://youtu.be/o8DW-QolX5s

Announcer: in the playoffs and relegation derbies every moment counts. Championships and survival is on the line as the intensity rachets up with each passing moment. Who is ready to face the dry mouth of post season angst? And who will find the heat from this cauldron to be too much to handle? Tonight we take the first steps to find out.

Over in club red....

The odds on favorite chefs look to declaw the kitties and to move on to Saturday night.

While the mavs host two in a contest which is much more of a coin flip affair

Over in the big 8....

Regular season champion stormz look to be weakened by the injury bug but it remains to been seen if enigmatic Petersburg can take advantage of the situation as last seasons d2 demotee has found the slaughterhouse a perplexing puzzle.

While in the other matchup the dogs will find the bunnies much more difficult to handle thanks to their injury issues.

And in the battles to stay on the island both 5's are in fine shape to survive as Deronimo should easily dispatch overmatched redstones while the Masters can choose their score against defunct nation.

And then you have the slugfest between the sixes. S31 champion Blasters against a team that joined the fray that season in the generals. Greensboro has procured the HcA but during the regular season the blasters blew them off the floor. However both sides have seen turmoil since. The blasters will be missing an important part of their puzzle while the generals are still trying see if their new upgraded talent has the cohesion to meet this challenge.

Sybil is here as always to seer into her crystal ball. The transfer ticker kept tocking to the last, we will look at the latest. And tonight's point counter point will discuss the current relegation process. So settle on in, it's time for the second season to begin as it's a quarter finals taco Tuesday edition of BB2NIGHT

Does stormz get their big gun back for Saturday and will he be in good shape?

Same applies to Blasters. I can see his "key player" back soon as game 2, definitely game 3 as it's the Willis Reed scenario. Either way the generals have to game plan with the mindset it's going to go to the third and final act. The generals are halfway home but ain't out of the woods by a Longshot.

Our opening show players presenting looks of perplexity.

Cue: https://youtu.be/NP9iOqdxS8c

Announcer: as we prepare to get our answers for the who will compete for a title and on who will be leaving the fray the answers as to how this will play out remain to be answered.

Off in big blue

Stormz has looked solid to get to the final for some time. But now injuries and a surging bunnies club leave that outcome in some doubt.

Though in club red it seems as if the chefs hold the cards. But if anyone holds an ace up their sleeve it could be crafty 2.

Meanwhile off in the elimination chamber contest both Deronimo and Masters seem well in control of their destiny. While the blasters and generals both could see the complexion of their Tete a Tete change dramatically.

Sybil will have her say. We will take a sneak peak into the MVP race and stay tuned for a special inside look at our upcoming draft class. So get with the flow and get ready to go as it's the semi final Saturday edition of BB2NIGHT

Here Here My Brother Herc wiser words have never been spoken "we both knew we'd get knocked out" When I was on Christmas break and couldn't change my line-up my GS and Euth took a beaten.

I do wish I could of received another playoffs game $$$ but you out-coach me out of that one.

Changes will have to be made for sure - All of our money is looking funny.

Thanks Herc for totally putting the whammy on my boys. But I can't say I wasn't prepared for the eventuality. The big thing is, I know that guy who has been down for the blasters is going to show up. For sure he will be for all intents about "80%" but that kid is going to get a shot of cortisone or what the hell ever, slap that knee inside a sleeve and tape it real tight and he will be out there. And that presence is what you call a true "x" factor.

So it's going to be the bunnies served up for the chefs to slaughter! Great job getting to this point, but it's the chefs time in view.

Our opening starts by highlighting the various ingredients that have gone into the recipe the chefs have conjoured up to get to this stage.

Cue. https://youtu.be/2PqfDyPAcBw

Announcer: Gordon Ramsay himself could not have come up with a more complete selection of eclectic offerings than the chefs have on their way to the final. The contents have simmered all season long and now are ready to be served on a champions platter. Just one little obstacle remains....

Cut to Issac Elliott pouring it in against stormz.

Cue: https://youtu.be/OysEzsruFK4

All that stands between the chefs and slaughterhouse immortality is Issac Elliott's flying circus aka the bunnies. After coming off the pace to claim the big 8 the bunnies will now look to pull the biggest shocker of them all.

Cut to the generals and blasters getting the respective better of each other over their first two entanglements.

Cue: https://youtu.be/7L6L1NbJuIo

But tonight we not only see one team take the first step towards becoming a champion we also get to see the end for one of two teams which have long standing ties to this league. Greensboro used a wave of emotion to run away with game one. Michigan held serve at home with a performance that while not as impressive in terms of margin was certainly no less in doubt as they controlled matters the whole way. And now their big gun is back, as to how many rounds are in the chamber remains to be seen but alas another level of intrigue has been added. It is a situation where neither team deserves the fate of falling to d4 but which is going to happen nevertheless.

Sybil will have her say, we will have our ceremony for MVP coming at halftime and we will also announce our slaughterhouse man of the year as well. So even though times might be uneasy don't get quesy as it's time again for BB2NIGHT!

Looks like the better team deserved to stay up. Which is just as well, I’m seriously going to have to blow the team up and stay down for a while. Best of luck to everyone next season.

GG.....

If you had been healthy the whole way this easily could have played out different. I'm in much the same boat, need to burn it all to the ground and essentially start anew. But since I survived another season I guess I keep bailing water and hoping my luck doesn't run out. I never can be accused of a youth movement but going into next season this team is going to be really really old. And it is frightfully flawed, particularly up front, for the last several seasons the generals have gotten beaten like a drum on the boards, not looking for that to improve but so much. One big issue is we have no real cash flow, between half a mile on the gym and the FA acquisitions it's left the bank account depleted. We have a good up and comer in Katsumata and Han still has lots of upside but we need to develop a big man from within. In the backcourt the Greek and Arenas are solid, the Frenchman not so much, in fact we are so unsettled at the 3 it is a real problem. Plus even with a team that I think will be better than this edition upward mobility is difficult. the issue then becomes, how many more times can this franchise be driven to the edge and not eventually topple over.

Congrats lambini, glad you're staying. No offense blasters, we'll miss you and definitely wish you good luck. Hope to see you back soon, but even better for you if you land in another d3 I'd say.
