I never knew about rebounding till this season. Apparently it's a useful invention where you can get the ball when the other team misses a shot. WHO KNEW?

I'm more interested in Raleigh vs. UCR, Raleigh played FCP, only got 6 (!?) steals, actually committed MORE turnovers than UCR, added on TWENTY-SEVEN fouls, and somehow only lost by 10?! jeeeeez

Wow, bizarre. Didn't even notice the tactics til you pointed it out. Only 6 steals & 9 forced turnovers playing FCP -- insane! Was a 1 point game with 3 minutes left. Maybe a lot of those fouls were intentional?

So comparing Raleigh's last 2 games: both were on the road. They forced more turnovers playing M2M & rebounded slightly better playing FCP? (UCR had a higher rebounding rating than Swamp Donkeys did). UCR's had a lot of turnovers too -- 213. Doesn't make sense. (For reference I have 133). [& Blah saw I was actually 3rd overall in total rebounds prior to my last game.]

That game had me scratching my head as well, but life certainly does go on. I am so getting relegated this year unless things really turn around in the next few weeks.

yay, training gameshape this week. I had a set lineup, checked it multiple times, multiple days. Yet I have 1 active player for my scrimmage. outstanding....

Have no electricity or internet access due to a really bad storm, that's why switching it to gameshape. (scrimmage is going on therefore can't even see how many total minutes I have). Plus have real life things to focus on ATM (for reference, even the chicago bulls had to abandon their headquarters to the united center for tonight's draft.).

The 1 week i was going to train 2 position scoring... is this a sign never to try again? (the gods of team training are angered?)

It's a shame any team from the Great 8 is gonna get demoted. You'd be in the playoffs were you in the Big 8. & our 7th place team has a winning record...

Just got internet back (for now at least)
Only had probably 5 players over 48 min. If at least 12 players can't get full training, no one does! Plus GS training was probably necessary. Seeing as how 3 of my starters are still only at STRONG GS... & backup fell to respectable.

Sure. The story of the game comes down to 2 match-ups.

Your high priced luxury Chinese import, Luo Tingjia, had a -22 plus/minus. The worst of any player. That's what happens when you ask him to compete with Jonathan Renteria, imported from Detroit (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKL254Y_jtc)

But even bigger was the 4th quarter match-up at PG. Your injuring of $70k PG Evaristo Pérez cleared the way for Kartlos Skhirtladze to shine. And he seized the moment. Geert-Jan de Quay looked utterly helpless as Kartlos Skhirtladze took the game into his ready hands. (4 pts, 1 assist, 1 reb in the 4th quarter alone!). Geert-Jan de Quay was more like Geert-Jan de No-Way-Can-I-Contain-Kartlos-Let's-Just-Accept-Defeat-uay !
