My understanding is that is around 120-130k. Maybe a bit higher for big men than for guards. In any case, a well-rounded player with a salary over 120k is a monster.

as far as i know it is lower than 120-130k. i will have a look tomorrow if the imaginable player you posted is within the limits. the salary calculator is more or less obsolete. people now go with an index table these days. will post that one here tomorrow too.

In any case, a well-rounded player with a salary over 120k is a monster.

how many times are you going to repeat that? look at our opponents that are in top 30-40 and tell me how many bigs they have on their team with 130k salary... i dont need to see the few exception because off course there are some. but the good teams have way higher salaries, especially for their starters.

more i am not going to say with regards this subject. cause there is no point.

i am happy to discuss things in a normal and logical way.

but dont forget, i will not explain and discuss every single player and every single discussion i made. especially not when people are comapring apples with bananas and when they are argeuing for the sake off it and look for and show the only exception in this game.

It's possible that a Superstar potential player can still be part of the NT roster in a few seasons time, but they are unlikely to start. I would rather hope we have moved on from that state where our big men are dominated by Superstar potential guys.

That said, I have one who may be good enough, we'll see.

Just wanted to say that salary is kind of an outdated way to look at the potential cap, if you want an idea of what skills you could aim for try plugging some different sets into Josefka's formulas. http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thr...

thanks. that is interesting and helpful.
My target seems to be at the low end of the range for Superstar (which is good because sublevels are unknown):
4.16
0.54
0.63
0.4
0.36
0.18
4.8
5.6
6
1.75
=24.42

Great post mikramus! and well put.

I am curious about something. has anyone got experience of what other u21 or nt teams do to encourage success whether it is player development or tactics or anything like that?

For example im thinking how responsibilities could best be divided across staff members and what they should do to contribute usefully to the national franchise.
Do other nts have a manager and assistant managers? im sure this could be helpful and also manage succession over time
what about a pr guy who watches england nt matches then posts a match report?
This would be cool on the new blog? (see news)
Long term scouting of opponents...
Can anyone think of other jobs? Big or small!

Hello

After being the NT coach for a few months now, I noticed that we have plenty off good guars and we have some great guards being trained too. If all the prospects are being trained to their full potential than we are well prepared in the guards positions for the next 10 seasons or so.

The problem is that we are lacking good trained SF, PF and C.

When I decided to train for the NT, I picked guards, 1. i didnt know we already have so many good guards and 2.this is what I have always been doing. However, I sold my whole team and wanted to train for the NT. So, in the near future (season and a half) i want to add some value to my guards, sell them off and than buy SF and PF prospects.

Now my question is, I have this player, is anyone interested in buying him from me? now or before the end off the season or during next season? and continue the training that he needs so he can become a great guard and possible NT player? He needs surely 4-5 seasons more training, with a level 5 trainer. Please contact me if you are willing and capable off training this guy. If you want to buy him over the course off this season or during the next season. I could try and train the player to anyones wish.
