Quick question. Does the level of your staff member effect their specialty? For example, if you have a level 5 doctor v. a level 2 doctor, does their massage specialty increase also?

Hey,
No, staff level has no effect on specialty.
Just for reference, this is covered in the FAQ :)
So the level 4 doctor will have the same massage effectiveness as a level 2 doctor.

Thanks. I really like your post, but it has gotten extremely long. And that makes it a little difficult to find an answer to a very specific question. But I think you're on point on most of it. Good job!

Hope it isn't too long for now,

Perhaps we should have two different sticky threads: one would be FAQ -> with emphasis on question + short answer. Second would be game mechanics thread, where you would write deep insights on different parts of the game.

This stuff helps a ton, thanx for the faq. Ive got one question, and i dont know which forum to ask it in, so ill ask it here, rookie mistake, as this is my first full season, came in 16 games into the season last year. How old is the absolute maximum you could keep a player. Ive got a 32 yr old point guard and 33 yr old shooting guard that are really doing a decent job for me, not lights out, but really decent, i was thinking of keeping them till say age 35 and then retiring them, cutting back theyre playing time as we go along. Just a thought and a question. Thanx for help in advance and this is one hell of a game, i would go into details as to why i think so, maybe taking a team that was 7-9, ended up 12-10, started out this year 6-0 averaging 118 a game has something to do with it, i dont know.

No worries. Cheers.

As for your question, there isn't really a set age to stop using a player. A players skills will start to deteriorate more quickly after 32, so your 2 older players will start having skill drops soon. However, if they are performing well at the moment, there is no reason to fire them. However I don't think keeping them til they are 35 is wise, use them for this season, and depending on how much their skills drop maybe use them for 1 more season max. After that their skills will probably have dropped too much to be useful.

Glad you enjoy the game!
