The problem with surveys is that unless the questions need only a yes/no, they are complicated to evaluate. It's something to think about though.

Iovi you mean?
Par Toutatis et Bélénos, the conceit is strong with this one. Non classical Latin started using Juppiter, Jovis, Jovi instead of Iuppiter, Iovis, Iovi in the early middle ages. As the only Latin still used today (by ze church) has forms with the J and the expression is used in judicial (see that J appearing again instead of the I, same story, iustitia to justitia) jargon, why would you want to correct him?

As always you pick out one part of his post and let everyone think you're actually making a worthwhile reply. How about addressing the rest of his post.

It's your opinion, not mine, although I wouldn't have written that. If he had posted the content of the message or it had a different and more explicit title I would agree with you. My bad that I thought it was an older message, though.
An I repeat, if he had written the content of the message I would have been the first person asking him to remove it, since private conversations can't be released unless both users agree.

Your opinion is biased.

Bah, as Knecht said elsewere this is a lost cause Gully. Everyone with an average intelligence reading this will be able to draw the logical conclusions about the staff. I'm sorry that good guys like Manon and other good GMs will be lumped with their jefes. It's also blatantly clear that Foto is more inclined to swim in the mud where Perpete successfully managed to throw this thread when he derailed the conversation (I'm ashamed I did bite), than actually dealing with the real issues.

A word of warning for all of you regular guys reading this. If you think this is what the level of the staff is and it's unreasonable to expect it to be better, go look for the posts by Charles (back then BB-Charles) and RiP (for a few seasons BB-Ryan), you will understand the difference between these people and staff we had in the past and you will agree that better quality is not only possible, but should be a rational expectation for all of us.

This won't be my first lost cause. Its still my fervent belief that one day I will be able to piss into a strong wind.

I appreciate the reply. Admittedly, I'm not a statistician and I'm sure you can get more qualified opinions on putting together the survey but I'd recommend either 1-5 or 1-7 scales, check boxes, and potentially rankings as well as yes/no questions (although probably limit it to 8-12 questions). There could be a temporary page for it, so it could be more than just receiving bb-mails.

I used to play HT and there was a survey similar to what you are proposing. When I was completing it, I had the feeling that the questions were so vague that my answers didn't really say what I really wanted for the game.
So, to create a good survey of this kind you have to be really good at it.
I can't think a couple of decisions where a survey could have worked, though.

We would like to thank you for your kind words and for really trying to make us feel worthless. I can only say that we are trying to do our best whatever is the level of it.

I have been warned in the past on here that sarcasm doesn't help. Neither does hypocrisy.
