I like this idea.

I suppose that it could be implemented by spending scout points as a way to increases the options of those who invest in the draft instead of giving more options to those who just guess by age and heigh...

Draft as constructed is great for D.IV and D.III, and decent for D.II - but useless for D.I. Biggest talent pool (MVPs and HOFs) is very shallow, so when I'm looking for a new trainee I'm always buying. I don't mind spending 1-2M on a 18y HoF because I know exactly what I'm getting.

Example: Let's say I'm looking for a center with OD at least 6 and there's a 5/5 C waiting for me in the draft, and I have a 1st pick. I pick him and his OD is 1. So I just waisted a pick.

It would make much more sense to be able to buy a pick from a team that has a great player and 1st pick rights. It's a gamble, sure, but so is a lot of picks in NBA (remember Royce White?)

he is also shooting 400%from 3pt range

Again, impossible. Thought this was covered!
400% does not equal .400
40% equals .400

He puts so much spin on the ball that after it goes through the basket, it bounces off the floor and back into the bucket three additional times. (Or, I guess, more than three since we'd think he'd miss some shots now and then and it still has to average 400%). I don't know how you can be so down on a guy who is capable of shooting 16 for 4 from beyond the arc.

Ah, yes, I forgot about the 518th hidden skill in the game.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

I agree with you. I think the draft could help keep top teams from tanking also quicker rebuilds. If a teams could see what they wanted and needed they could get better faster within the draft its still a gamble.

Its pretty much useless for the top leagues . I don't understand really ,they have to rebuild at some point , And will go broke at some point as well too. Now they have all the money penalty for sliding down.. It make me not want to even go to top league.. I feel sorry for them really because hard times are going to come and if they dont have the money for the talent ,it just a sad case. It just case of slide down to 4 league with club fines.

For a guy who's not been in D.I yet, you are very knowledgable I have much less income in D.I than in D.II. D.I=30-40k and I barely hang on to 7th place, while D.II=150-200k and I can train however I want.

A couple concerns I have related to the game:

1) Gameshape training should be removed. As Manon said. I support this because if you review the top teams in the world, they only need to carry 7 useful players to be among the best. However, if you take a team in Div 4 who wants to compete in the cup, he needs a roster of 10-12 decently skilled players and still find ways to train their roster to manage gameshape. Most top teams do not have to train their own roster as they buy their top players. Overall it makes the game less balanced to have teams that all they have to do is train gameshape to help their chances each week to field a better roster than the opponent. If they aren't going to train players, they shouldn't be given a bonus for not doing so.

2) Free agents. I have a couple problems with FA. First of all veterans are way overpriced. Players above 33 should be put on the free agent listing for half the price of those under 32. What is the point of seeing a player on the FA list if no one is going to consider buying him? Secondly, players under 23 - superstar or better- should be put on the transfer wire if they have 8,000 plus salary. It doesn't make sense that these types of players aren't included because they don't meet the salary requirements. They hold much higher value than most players AND it would not flood the market as it would require 1-2 seasons of training and good potential.

3) Selling players. I have a big problem with how some teams are able to advance up the ranks so quickly. I'm not going to name any names but I see a top team in the USA who only took 8 seasons to get there. He has sold his players for 13 million more than he has bought. How the heck is he able to sell a 20 year old with 6K salary and 7 potential for 700,000?!? Or a 25 year old 5K salary player for 200,000?!? I have a very simple solution. For a player to sell on the transfer list, he needs at least one bid from two different teams (and make it against the rules to bid on someone-just so that someone does). Why does this work? It stops newbies from making stupid buying decisions that they regret later. It also makes it much harder to make outrageous profits by simply listing someone at a high price. If you look around at the worst buys people make, it is normally purchases with only a single bid. I know there are exceptions to the rule, but not often. To get to the top quickly should require skill, instead all it requires is the stupidity of newbies.

4) If three doesn't work, you could also limit the number of times a player can be put on TL before he becomes a free agent and leaves the team with disgust of always being told he is getting sold. Make this number random as well. Like 2-5 times per season. That way it could happen if you put him up twice, but make it really unlikely. But if he is put up 5 times, make it highly likely. That sort of thing.

Oh and this is the only time I have ever made suggestions for the game. Also I have played since season 20.
