Well deserved Bergkamp ,It's just a game, even if sometimes feels like more than game haha
Even if I got down, but still I have much fun in this season, loads of emotions watching live games,I'll work on more tactical things and I come back one day In EBBL again,To be honest,as much seasons I played I never seen such an even teams in group stage.
10W in league stay in 7P,11wins for a playoff,Mr.Lemonshine delegate his team to finals,as an Incredible results, that shows how all teams strong are.Have nice upcoming season fellas, and hope you see you soon all.
Best of luck

Cheers Bergkamp, same to you. To be honest my team peaked last season and I think I'm a bit fortunate to stay up when younger evenly matched teams went down. I have some more rebuilding to do and will probably slip down in the next couple of seasons, but Vecx convinced me to stay up if at all possible...

I have to apologise to you for involving you in my quest to relegate Doncaster Hawks for his foolishness. The reality is that if I don't throw the game against Erks and I don't train or TIE the last game (I did because there was a good chance I'd win the quarterfinals while training) there is a chance you end 5th with HCA.

No team has broken HCA in the relegation series (Ashington was quite close late in the 4th), it just goes to show that miscalculating when to throw games and not paying attention to PD can be fatal when teams are close to each other in level. And yes, sometimes it's also just down to luck.

As Ma Anhui starts dropping and sheds some salary next season, I think I may consider going down and rebuilding. This is by far not the best team I've had in the EBBL, it's a pity I ended up in the finals with these players and while training some young guys, but surely I'm the last person who can complain after winning 2 road playoff games to reach the finals.

Good luck to everyone going down, I'm sure we'll see you all soon, either in the EBBL or in D2.

That's all right buddy,It was some games where are really can take victory, but lost from my hands. As we can see every victory means, even 1-2games could change everything,Begining of season I was building team, tried to focused on tournament either EBBL.But as I can see was bad decision for the first season in EBBL..If I do have home court would be a bit better:) And now I can focus on training youngster again, for a while..:) Still is good, also I have 4-5pick I guess,no loss here, haha

Well, congrats to Elmacca for getting back the title.

He just won his third game out of the last 4 with worse Efficiency than his opponent, lol.

I think it was a mistake to Crunch the second finals game, as the Enth boost would have counterbalanced HCA in the last game. Anyways, it proved the right choice obviously.

Congratulations again.

yeah, I know what you mean but when your enthusiasm was as low aa mine (6), the potential variance between game outcomes given the matchups lead me to think that having two bites of the cherry was the way to go.

Shame it didn't go 3, it was pretty closely matched. Congrats Elmacca!

You're actively hoping for the crunch really aren't you?

If he doesn't, what else have you got to shorten your odds in G3 apart from rolling the dice on a prediction?

Now the finals are over, I played the semi-final against you with enthusiasm at 8, so I think it was a lot more 50/50 than you thought and that you opened up the window with the way you managed your minutes the week before, which was a rare mistake from your side. That game was my best win in six seasons and I have been training Willis for three seasons purely with the match up against Innes in mind.

In other words: Innes is so good, I had to take a top prospect, train him for three seasons with one purpose in mind, have GS break my way and wait until he was 36 to beat the f*****.

Innes is just the best player any of us have ever trained up, with only one fault (in my eyes), not enough OD.

I just want to say that I won this title because this season I played every game as hard as I could and those small margins found a way to victory.

The match-ups against Lemon's team are a bit too variable for my liking, in terms of matching my defenders against where he can put his go to players.

Yes, you are right, I still had GDP as an option.

I think I reduced my chances from 65/35 in G3 to 50/50 by going for the win in this game. But I think I increased my chance of winning from 25/75 to 50/50 by catching him on the Playoff Normal he needed to maximise his chances in G3.

The other thing is that I was also running out of unused tactics given that I'd been fighting tooth and nail to win on the road making a G3 GDP from Lemon more likely and more easy to read.
