In addition, when you first play the game, there are loads of ways it's easier. You start in a lower division, where the teams are most often very easy to beat. You have simplified options to setting tactics. You start with enough money to get you by. You have loads of places to find information and lots of people who are willing to share it.

Just like any in-depth game or skill set... You gotta start at the beginning. No one starts kicking soccer balls in the top right corner of the goal on their first day.

What I really want to know is how the problem of these mammoth salaried players is going to be fixed. Over 200k players are selling for peanuts. I'd rent LBJ for a few games in the league I play in. How cool would that be?!

to make the game "simpler" so people with only one synapse will play it is not to make either games, peoples or synapses better.

you know, there are tough PhD dudes who find chess, go and reversi actually very complicated.

I don't know... if I had a friend like that, I would suggest him to try Ludo, or Monopoly. something like that.

on the other hand, perhaps you can encourage him to give it a second try, a good, hard, one. maybe he'll find a better taste and become a fan.

yes, but give it time. things don't change just like that.

these players will eventually become less frequent in the market, since selling them will mean, for the original manager, selling like 150, 200k tax exemption.

right NOW, what you get to eliminate is that portion of short-term managers that can't afford, say, a 100k tax penalty for 1, 2 weeks. then you'll progressively get more managers training and acquiring kkks for tax exemption.

what you can say good bye now or in the near future is the 12k lvl-4 trainer for a 5k price. prepare to bid for this guy. hehe.

Ah I see. Excellent points.

Yeah the lvl 4+ trainers... They're gonna come at a price that's for sure!

We can add that rules to the GDP and the smiley icons to the things you dislike added that season. And we are just January 1st. Luckily some other people seem to like those and discussion about second team for Supporter and App are under ways.

I am against the GDP since it was announced as it makes the game even more complicated and - as we see right now - almost nobody uses it anyway. The amount of time wasted for coding someting useless is mindblowing (just like the 5th place freeroll that was introduced back in the days - you had to fix that fix, and I told you from day 1). There is a long list of improvements that many people are waiting for and yet, every season we see changes nobody has asked for.

Good to see that the discussion for useful improvements are under way - took you two years to start talking about it. Follow my lead and everything will be fine.

You'd think that by now the BB staff would have learned to consult with your friend to make their decisions.

They should at least find out why new users join and leave after a few days. Thats just common sense for a company that wants to grow.

I doubt my friend would be open for a consulting position and I am pretty sure BB can't pay him anyway.

I haven used GDP not because I find it useless but because I haven't need it. But you can bet I'll use it, even as pure guessing, when confronting a mightier opponent than me. Besides, the thing behind GDP is to encourage users to be versatile and adapt to tactics, not just bulk a Center and roll over competition. So one can argue that if people are NOT using it because they basically would have to guess -since the opponent can play many differente strategies-, one can argue, I said, that it is this precisely what proves it works.
