Well, the player transfer deadline for playoffs has passed and Phoenix doesn't exactly look geared up for a battle... so it seems you will dodge the bullet this time!

Whoa, I didn't expect singularity's fire sale. I can't say that I'll miss playing against Tamm and Maulela. Those guys drove me nuts. I wish I would have seen their skills before they sold...

Post Season Prediction
In a division with two very successful former U21 managers, two former NBBA teams who made it to the NBBA by promoting out of II.4 and two first place teams that have managed to accumulate a better win loss record than the aforementioned teams, this playoff should have all the makings for some exciting games and some hard decisions which proves the managers worth. Instead, this playoffs is all about the Visionaries and whether or not they can manage to finally clear the hurdle and promote to the NBBA. It is the Visionaries promotion to lose.

Big 8
#4 Jack Rabbits vs. #1 Visionaries
The Jack Rabbits have some decent players but are an incomplete team lacking anything that resembles depth and looking towards next season already with some playoff ineligible purchases. That combined with the fact that the Visionaries are just the best team in the league leads to an easy Visionaries victory.

#3 Findlay Flight vs. #2 ATL The Hawks
After Findlay's sell off this won't even be intersting to watch. ATL easy.

#2 ATL The Hawks vs. #1 Visionaries
Both teams should be fresh off of PONs from game one and while ATL will be a better challenge for the Visionaries, ATL's 3 stars will be overwhelmed by the Visionaries great depth. Another game that won't be that exciting.

Great 8 and finals predictions to come later tonight....

Nice job! I'm looking forward to the rest of your predictions. Let me guess, you're predicting my team will demolish Peluin's team in the finals? :P

For any of us to win, we need the Visionaries to have a rash of injuries or bad luck. Crazy things happen in the playoffs though, like this game (32819196), where two of my SGs were injured, and a third SG was ejected (and I still somehow won).

Or I still haven't forgiven Rambo for spoiling my 22-0 with a ridiculous come-back-1-pt-buzzerbeater-win that he STOPPED WATCHING in the 3rd quarter.

Vis > JR by 25
ATL > FF by 35
WL > GF by 70
SD > NY by 6

Vis > ATL by 15
SD > WL by 1

Vis > SD in 3

no injuries for me. NONE I SAY.

You guys are underestimating my playoff suckage. I'm still giving FF a fighting chance tonight.

Great 8 Preview
#4 Green Flash vs. #1 Window Lickers
No brainer, Window Lickers by a ton.

#3 New York Jests vs. #2 Slashing Dragons
This will be the only contested game tonight and I see this game coming down to a coin flip. Neither team can afford to play with less effort and expect to win, and since none of the other matches look to be close, there is a good chance the winner will be at an enthusiasm disadvantage going forward. If there was ever a game in which a mPON would be equally beneficial for both teams, this game would be it. The Jests will go lifetime 2-0 against the Dragons in the playoffs and win this one close.

#3 New York Jests vs. #1 Window Lickers
Window Lickers should have an enthusiasm advantage here due to GF's tanking and that coupled with HCA will be alot for Jests to overcome. The Jests keep it close but Window Lickers win in the end.

D II.3 Final
#1 Window Lickers vs. #1 Visionaries
Winning a 3 game series as the road team is tough no matter who you are playing. Couple that with the fact that Visionaries won't have a challenging game before the finals and this will be too much for Window Lickers. The hardest question for me to answer here is how many game will it take Visionaries to win the championship. (and no disrespect to Window Lickers, just think Visionaries is that good). In the end, I'm picking Visionaries in 3, but neither of his victories will be tight games.

Best chance for any of us Great 8 teams to promote was Visionaries somehow losing a game before the finals. Given the state of the other Big 8 playoffs teams there is no chance that will happen. :(

Looks like the only one I might be close on is SD-NYJ (in terms of margin of victory). Obviously picking winners today wasn't a challenge except your game Mr. Harper.

I thought ATL was putting up pretty good ratings at the end of the season, I'm strongly considering POCT against him since best-of-one is scary

2am here, I'm too tired to stay up and see the box scores
