User numbers aren't really falling now (weren't)
If they fall soon it would be probably economic balance issues I guess

For the historical drop/lack of BB catching on. I would say perhaps its not the GE, but the lack of one ( a good one ) and a lack of tactic balances etc. that plays into other realism/counterintuitive issues with how teams are run, training, how the market works etc.

Unfortunately, user numbers are still falling.
I've been tracking World, US, and Utopia user numbers for the past six weeks, and it is interesting to watch the user base drop on Mondays and then slowly climb back up over the week to then drop again on Mondays.
Anyhow, in those six weeks, US is down 7.6%, World is -2.5%, and Utopia is flat.

You're a reasonable person Manon. The rants above were about the fact that there are a lot of things that are unrealistic. 18ft lay ups are also unrealistic as aber pointed out. Sure, I agree you can't blame any single problem on its own for the loss of users, however I think we're discussing about how to make the game last into the future and my opinion is that the devs should try to improve it, especially the parts that people complain about or nearly push people to ragequit while watching the viewer.

Personally, I'd rather have a game with a high user turnover but also a healthy number of users. Ultimately Trainerman is right in screaming about micronations, because a lot of the drive in these games is generated by both the sense of community and the challenge of prevailing over many other human managers. If you accept that the situation as it is today is good enough, then you're very much guaranteed to run the game into the ground in the long run.

I don't understand also the stubbornness of the owners about not involving the users in helping out back when there were more users and even today.

Would imagine some of the falling users is because it's been the NBA offseason? And the fact the rest of the world has fallen less is maybe because Eurobasket has been on. I imagine the users falling off are mostly newer teams not being replaced by other new teams (established teams not leaving can be seen in Utopia). If this theory is true, new sign ups will probably start going back up again soon...

The biggest US dip came on Monday, Sep 7th. where the US lost a full 4% of users. Over half of the total drop in this timeframe I've been measuring.
Up until that point, the total World decline was happening faster.
Utopia fluctuates very minimally overall.

I've been noticing this for years, footbawl season in Merica tends to cause the less committed to drift away. Once the weather cools there will be more of a market for the game.

BB have new policy to rather go blind and desperately trying to keep cheaters and multiaccounters in the game have small chances to go forward.
Every constructive criticism aren't allowed, too.
Lots of good ideas for BB future are stopped by authorities without any arguments.

Without fair deals on Transfer List there is no future.

If players with f.e. TSP=80 (33yo+) are purchased for 100÷200k it's not fair that the very same player after 2÷3 weeks (or anytime at all) goes for almost million. It's 5÷10 times more!!!!
For that's and similar transfers should be ban immidiately for both managers (not for only one! - especially when they are connnected or they logged from the very same IP address!!!)
But in real, both managers (or one, who knows) keeps their teams. After several transfers like these "decent" manager start bigger "deals" this time with TSP=100 (33yo+) and now he makes millions, dozens of millions.. It's only matter of time when this manager will be new BBB champion! (because BB stuff claimed that's clean?!)

The same story is about young talents. You can see real extra talents (POTENTIAL ≥9) f.e. TSP≥70 (18yo), or TSP≈100 (21yo), but then u see that for same price goes "talents" with TSP≈70 (20yo) or TSP≈100 (24yo).

So, I'm asking u is that fair that 3 years elder player with same TSP and potential goes for very same price?!

Why anyone wants to play this game if smb have given "right" to cheat?

Do u wanna see another BBB champ who is cheater?

p.s. Few seasons ago only the best players goes for million. Now garbage players are purchased for that amount.
So I wonder, is BB evolve in good direction so much that this is normal or gone in wrong direction?
