Thank you for sharing this! I have always shied away from 2 Pos Training but am in the same situation. I need to have more OD an PS on my Guards and Wings and it is almost impossible to do via traditional optimised training.
This is really encouraging and I will try to incorporate this into my training.

I'm doing the same, my 2nd team is homegrown (3nd season for now)
I could have started my Italia team as homegrown but i decided to start the utopian one as homegrown because i can draft players from different countries, so i can also help smaller nations to have nice players for their national teams and u21 teams!

Hello, how are you doing? Although I'm new, my team will also only be homegrown players!!! Greetings

Never imagined you could get players that high salary with 2 position training. I'd guess they are HA/DR heavy. Curious, though, there is no ID, RB, or SB in there. How did you get the Center? Did you train bigs first then rotate into guards? And guys stuck in between were more of forwards?

I'd like to see your training plan if you would be willing. I have a homegrown single position plan now, but I figure the best I could max is Superstars without having too small a roster to compete. Would be very interested to see how you managed those monsters with 2 position training.

Early Cup exit for current champions this season.
We managed to win 3 out of 7 games in B3, and missed the next round by one win.

In the league, we are one of the best teams, but our chances of winning a title are rather slim. We'll see...

Good luck for the rest of the season to all of you!

Bigs I trained with 1 position training before the guards, so that didn't take too long. Exact training plan for them I don't remember because it was a long time ago. For Paakkinen I trained outside skills the 4 seasons before I drafted Löf. Then 5 seasons of inside skills. Then trained outside skills for Löf at the same time as I started the training of the current guard trainees. Currently I also have one future big training outside skills before later moving to 1 position training for inside skills.

Hopefully this helps!

Also, 2nd season in a row we made it to the playoffs in BBM tier 1! In the last game we managed to get a big overtime win against tough Lithuanian opponent. Last season we suffered a tough 2-point loss at this stage so now we get another opportunity to make homegrown history by being first team getting past the first round of BBM tier 1 playoffs. We are facing a tough Turkish team due to our bad point differential, but we'll see how it goes.

On not so bright note, this season has been rough for us in the national competitions. We suffered an early cup exit, but also Finnish Div 1 is currently arguably one of the toughest leagues in the world with 6 teams making it to the BBM tier 1 playoffs as well as 2 teams in B3 playoffs. With that Finland is tied with Poland with 8 teams in the playoffs of top international competitions. We are still fighting for the 2-seed so considering the level of competition, we're doing decently well.

As of today, unfortunately I am not a homegrown team anymore.

Even though I believe this was a beautiful project, I had to buy an Albanian player in order to be sure that he would train well. We are only 6 Albanian teams, so I had to make this sacrifice for the homeland. Whoever reads this, I encourage the Home-Grown Team project, as it is not only beautiful, but makes the game more challenging and fun.

I wish all of you the best of luck for the remaining of the season and in the future!
