Don't pile on me for the fact that you didn't have a complete strategy for everything that you're doing between the first day of the regular season and the last day of the playoffs. I don't manage your team

That is true. I have never thought that enthusiasm can play such an important role. I'll certainly think it over next season. No hard feelings?

No hard feelings at all. I got a bit carried away, and I apologize.

But in general, I don't see how one can have a successful season without asking themselves some questions on Day. Such as:

How much stronger/weaker than me are my opponents?
Based on this, how much enthusiasm do I need going into the playoffs? How far down the standings can I allow to slide?

You probably won't have a perfect picture from the get-go, but you'll at least have a plan.

With me, the answers were somewhat obvious this season, which made it extremely boring

If losing a playoff game causes him to not care about his team, most likely he wasn't all that interested in BB to begin with.

I agree with you, and those who agree with you..

Enthusiasm should be reset before the playoffs.

Makes no sense that teams can TIE their enthusiasm up (probably by losing games). Should'nt making the playoffs equal a boost of enthusiasm? With the current system a team losing on purpose in a non-competitive league would beat an equally strong team that fought its way for a 4th spot.

The suggested reduced options to control enthusiasm in the PO are good, and much welcome!

after all, even getting into the play-offs with enthousiasm 10, it still is gambling.

Last year I gambled right.

this year, there was less gambling, because now we can 'see' what the estimate enthousiasm is of the opponent. I did what I had to do to get a decent chance if I won this game, but I lost. Should I have played diffrent, I was likely to advance, but would have small chance in the finals...
So it is still gambling, less chance now, or less chance next round... I gambled wrong...

Keeps things exiting though!

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

I think the key question to ask, really, is this:
How often should the #4 seed be able to beat the #1 seed by playing CT vs. normal?

Not in a case like this (4107330) :(((
(although it was #2 vs. #1 here)

Can you tell me something about the rebounds distribution in this game?
Some time ago you suggested to link the offensive rebounding to the offensive tactic. I hope you still working on it, because after the half-season changes I find run&gun (also motion?) too successful.

Your are force to play 3-2 or even 1-3-1 defense to limit them (and that's fine), but then, unrealistically, the loss in rebounding is too high in my opinion.

Does it mean that more attitude give you more rebounds? If so, then i am really surprised why I lost rebounding in my last game (4098612) . I played CT against Normal and had a full level higher rebounding, but he got way more rebounds than I did (8/47 against 17/55). Have I missed something?

I think its been stated that more attitude improves your chances across the board. It's also been stated that there is a certain amount of random elements involved in the gameplay. If you had gotten 4 more rebounds in that game then you would have tied for rebounds at 51 apiece, right? Is that really the definition of "way more"? A ratio of your team rebounding level compared to his would be about a 6:4 ratio in your favor, but I have no idea how that breaks down on an individual level within the game engine.

If the margin of error (random) is 15%, you'd still be within it.
