why is inside iso. and outside iso. normal and normal, when I thought they were meant for the best inside player/mismatch and the best outside player/mismatch.

I would think it'd be
Inside Isolation: Inside Normal
Outside Isolation: Outside Normal

So why is it Normal/Normal?

Yes, GE treats them this way ...... but it´s senseless!

The rules:
Isolation Inside: Your team will find the best offense player inside

this sounds like "Inside focus" ..... so, why it should be "normal"?

So we have 5x normal, 3x outside and 2x inside ..... I would say that 4-4-3 will look much more attractive and realistic ;-)

Thanks to the GDP, I find myself scouting opposing teams much more thoroughly, which is one of the more fun parts of the game.

A bit of an aside...

Anyone heard about or spoken about whether the ratings in the game summary (box score page) will be increased/decreased as a result of selecting the superior/inferior strategy (i.e. the GDP)?

Yes that's right. That's why there opposing team will prepare for it. And that's the point of this feature.

You wrote that you now do more scouting than before
if you use B-M already, how are you doing more?
What more do we need than a team's history of previous tactics?

When a team uses inside isolation, in the real basketballworld, it means the whole team creates space (isolation play) for their big man to post up and go one on one. This might end up in a double team... If the big man can pass, he will always find an open player. In that way it will be balanced, cause the focus might be inside... it creates balanced opportunities for a team. This might be why the GE says it is normal. Seems pretty ok to me...

I actually need to know teams' history and previous tactics now. Before I felt like I didn't need to look at a team.
