Tonight's opening montage centers around scenes of frustration. From failures to finishes around the rim to coaches flipping out on players, officials and of the fans in a state of incredulous exasperation.

Announcer: as the final week of the season commences nerves for many are frayed as for many the frustration of missed opportunity continues to build.

Over in the big 8

Deronimo and Cal collide in a contest to see who gets to avoid going to see the pistons in the first round of the playoffs.

The pistons look to silence the storm and to clinch HCA for the postseason.

The Generals look to clinch the five position but the spiders will be looking to spoil the party

And the bunnies need to just bump off the nation to clinch a home game as the cave come the playoffs. But they will face a stout test from the nation which has succeeded in not just having a real chance for upward mobility in the future.

2 host the bunnies in the game which will probably decide the matter of who wins the division. .

Spike is showing signs of life as they seek to make their postseason as Wadsworth limps along to the finish line.

And the mavs will look to lick their wounds and ride the free ride that has been the reverse table running daggers.


Sybil will seer into her crystal ball. The transfer ticker will be tracked and tonight's Point counterpoint looks at a best way to handle what has be charged

Announcer: Time is running out on season 43. For some just a delay before it all cranks up a notch for next week. For others the clock will hit zero with finality.

Masters and Grizzlies will battle in an attempt to improve their overall lot.

2 looks to nail down top seed while the mavs need this one to solidify their spot in 3rd.


Spike looks to continue the better play of late while the blizzards look to find some momentum at seasons end.

And the kitties will look to keep their shot at the top seed in sight as they draw the free lap of dagger's

Off in the big 8

The Generals try to keep the embers of their playoff hopes flickering against a piston squad securely ensconced in the top slot.

Deronimo will look to extinguish those hopes of the Generals as a win against rapidly improving nation clinches a playoff birth.

Tthe bunnies will try and complete their climb to second though the bulldogs will be looking to sneak in the back door for a first round showdown.

And stormz will look to secure at worst a .500 finish as they tackle a spiders club marking before returning to the bush

Sybil will have her say. We will check the ticker to see who has something perhaps up their sleeve for the postseason. And in our final regular season edition of vox populi we will ask the fans who really is the league's biggest surprises. The blizzards and Grizzlies are both assured of finishing under .500 but whomever wins tonight will secure 5th and what could be an important HCA in their relegation battle.

The mavs are looking to secure a winning campaign and assure themselves of a 2nd meeting with the kitties in the first round


Masters however is poised to take that position just long as they slip past Spike


And round 2 gets the free pass as they will deal daggers their final card

I'm still here, and I would like to thank you for the commentary every game night.

I'm still kickin for a week or two. I've made some changes to get younger at some key spots and its cost me down the stretch as far as any chance of hanging around another year but it's time I head back to D-IV so I can train and be competitive. I will definitely miss the commentary....always look forward to the nightly matchup commentary. Wish you guys the best for sure. Ill jump in from time to time to drop my two cents in.

I think it's another lost season for me. I expected to fall to 4 and play Diorite which I think I actually match up better with. But it's the Bunnies who have my number...

We are falling into this RL ass backwards. Last night was a miserable performance. I guess we should survive, but it will not be as much of a gimme as the blizzards would propose. But I came into this season with modest expectations and those have been met.

I am back from vacation and looking at some interesting match-ups. A computerized player managed team on top of the RL in the blue (What's up?). Hehe if he were in our division he might be in the playoffs lol. We are definitely going to lose a good Coach (Lamb or Goat). Hate to see either one of you guys leave. Could the 3rd time be a charm for the Mavs playing the Kittens ? I think not - going to get bounce again but hey it's good to just make it to the playoffs again with the challenges of this season. GL to all.

Since it's the postseason tonights opening is a duel pronged affair. Starting with various scenes from those still in the championship chase transitioning over to the battles of the also rans for survival.

And on the other end of the spectrum are those who now have to prove themselves for the privilege of staying here in the slaughterhouse.

Stormz salvaged a winning campaign from the carnage and now will look to make quick work of sputtering Spike

The Generals match up well on paper with the blizzards but it might not be near as clear cut as it appears to be.

And the nation despite being not having overall HCA looks like a solid bet to at least snake game one from the grizzlies. But with two stalwarts on the hook for big money on the TL those odds of survival could change dramatically.
