1. About regeneration, my intuition says YES, but after thinking about it I gotta say this is a tricky one and I am leaning towards NO. During the course of a game the stamina is consumed (which I think makes the skills to drop). The substitution will occur when the stamina is so much consumed that the skills of the sub are higher than the skills of the starter - with respect to their matchup.
But does the starter come back into the game because their stamina is regenerated, or the substitution player's stamina dropped? This is the tricky part I was wondering about. If it is the later, then no regeneration.
Does this makes difference? I think it does. If no regeneration, then the player will perform worse in the course of the game (mainly on offense). How to mitigate this? I think it is the experience that mitigation factor. In the crunch time experience kicks in, to "overwrite" the stamina-affected lowering of the skills. That is my opinion. So NO regeneration is my take. But someone more senior manager may have the exact answer.
Edit: 2. I have idea about this but not thoroughly processed.
P.S. If you get an answer on the discord would you share it here?
