[The post is partly deleted by GM-alexFerguson due to inappropriate comments and personal attacks]

All the concerns written here against a pillory(i should say a list for those with sensitive "ears") are regarding the emotional effects it could have to the cheating teams?????
and am asking you what about the rest of us??those who dont profit by 6.000.000 from a ridiculous transfer...

i only posted that player this morning to let you know i keep checking him from time to time to see whether the 2nd team which benefit the 6.000.000 is banned as well or whether all players are for sale due to a huge fine...
if there was a list...i wouldnt have bothered more than a glance...by the way its been more than 4 weeks since i made the report....

So actually what you want is a confirmation that your report was read and that some action was taken, am I right ?

I find it very natural and BB fails in that. It's weird we are asked to act responsibly, report cheaters and never receive any sort of acknowledgement. That's not right and leads to you mistrusting that something was done when there is no reason to doubt the case was investigated. Some sort of acknowledgement, I support completely. A pillory is a different concept earlier discussed that causes a full set of new problems.

Now about the transfer you are worried about, I will tell you what a GM can't. If no link was found between the buyer and the seller (and it's possible the seller didn't cheat, right ? Someone brought up this idea of a destruction team), the seller was fined the amount of the transfer fee or close. It's not really a fine, it's a correction on the transfer price. If he was proven a cheater, he would have been banned. Since he has not used the money and if it's not an arranged transfer, there is no reason to punish him with a huge fine and make him sell his players. And we don't even know, he may have reported the transfer himself like he should have.
The buyer's username makes it clear he doesn't care about BB anymore. It's possible it's not cheating but a knee-jerk reaction.

It's such a blatant case of illegal transfer, I wouldn't worry about it if I were you, I am certain it was resolved in a few minutes with minimal effort. There are some smarter cheaters out there.

Deleted and edited some messages to keep the discussion away from insulting each other.

Just reread my post few messages above. It is a good idea, but it can't be added to the game in the way you propose.

I see. You know everything better than the GMs. Why are you asking then? Manouche is totally correct with his message, btw.

And if the thread continues to be the discussion of GMs' decisions or cheating accusations - it will be closed.

well... its getting late here in Athens...its easier to lose temper...:)))

never mind that....no hard feelings from my part.

just to conclude cause i think we are losing track of my initial suggestion.

Pillory was a term used wanting to describe the "formal' way of the game answering back to the users that bothered writing a report.

Since lots of experienced players dont see the benefit of enhancing such a communication between the GMs and the users by forming a "pillory" i have to respect that.

I have acknowledged though several voices that mentioned that something like a pillory/response could be another feature of the game potentially in the future.

I think the most important element of this post should be establishing the missing part of that communication.
we have been asked to search/monitor inappropriate gaming. If we were a bit suspicious prior to that....we got more by checking and eventually reporting assuming fraud/cheating.

You asked us to do that, and then our actions were left...
in the shadow

If a pillory is not what this game is missing or could benefit from ( i would agree other bugs need to be fixed first) then do please consider respecting the time of those writing a report. it could take another 5min of someone's unpaid-voluntary job but i reckon it would be much appreciated.
it would encourage people to continue trying to help the game by finding and excluding those who cheat, and will help them understand when and why someone is liable to get a fine...eventually the amount of pms received by the GMs will be reduced...
(if i have receiced the answer i got before by GM RIP, i wouldnt have bothered checking again and again someones log in day, and the nex time i would have written a report, such a lengthy answer wouldnt be necessary)

But pillory will always appear as old-fashion, as medieval so to say. Discuss something that's more up to date ...
