Well Frosty I must say i was already cautious to see how our game would go and was going to determine what lineup i played based on if I had a tough cup game next Thursday and needed to save my starters some. BUT of course after an absolute POOP (I wanted to say expletive) show of a game yesterday (BallStar just played Bully ball and was extremely physical... forced 2 guys on my team to foul out before halftime and then Injured Tommy on a flagrant!) Tommy is out! Unless the doctors can work a miracle. Tommy will miss our game Frosty which will then result in an EASY victory for you. Even easier if Marco Tatti sells (currently has 0 bids on him.) So i hope you weren't looking to test and get a feel for how strong your team was against me my friend as I am bringing a soup spoon to a gun fight. This wont even be a game i watch or keep up with the simulator. Just hoping that Tommy comes back for my Thursday cup game next week as I am assuming it will be against a solid team as we are getting pretty close to that point where all the teams left are pretty good.

But i can Easily see BucsBlue being 7-5 come next Weds Morning! Ugh injuries suck.

yep this week most teams are good, next week pretty much every team will be good. and no, lol, i wasn't looking for a test haha. i'll take wins however i can get them. i have no delusions of this squad being a championship contender. it's a solid squad, but not better than above average. i actually fear we're on a collision course in terms of team building. we're planning on peaking at the same time. this would mark the first time in our rivalry history that i actually won a game!

You haven't had a win against me. And i have usually put pretty strong teams out there. But no Tommy and a predicted strong cup opponent I am thinking that dropping a game to such a good manager like yourself isn't the worst thing that could happen. Hopefully for PD purposes i keep it close because i have a feeling the seeds on the Big 8 side will be decided by PD not record.

To your last point I agree we could find ourselves on a finals collision coast in a couple seasons. This season being head above water. Next season rebuilding our fan base's trust as we get back to our winning ways and the season after D2 here we come! lol in a perfect world it would go like that right?

Ps i heard and this can or cannot be true so don't quote me... but the TV contract money is determined by how strong the league is there are many factors in that (ranks of teams in the league, strength of schedule etc,) but more important and i don't know if this is true someone told me that Performance in the cup as a league affects the TV contracts of that league. So the more teams we have go farther in the cup the better our TV contract money will be next season. Again that could be wrong but i heard that
