Well, I think i will train it once and then that's it for the season... I don't think stamina is very important skill... Am i wrong?

No.

(It's hard to tell, it is more about group thinking than anything else. It has some impact but how much is questionable and succes with low stamina is possible albeit it could differ from what importance others (i.e. the opposition of your team) think it has. There are some teams focusing on stamina on other hand but since the level of the skill is not seen it is hard to tell the impact. You can live without it at least in some countries.)

Pressure
PG/SG:
Trains OD @ 2-3 weeks
Trains ID @ 14-16 weeks
Trains HN @ 14-16 weeks
Trains DV @ 14-16 weeks

I agree on the secondary speeds... perilously slow and ive trained A LOT of OD even on a 6ft 10 guy....

I think something that needs to be added is the speed slows down dramatically when you are closing in on a soft cap.

A pop from Tremendous to Wondrous that carries a high salary increase is going to be much slower than a pop from Prominent to Prolific regardless of age.

I try now whereever possible to brush up on the skills that mayve been left behind before trying to polish off and add 1 or 2 final levels to the primary skills.

I have noticed this to be effective in stage 1 (ive had some nice faster than expected pops on skills that lagged behind) I just hope that it wont prevent me from stage 2!!

But the point of this was to confirm that anyone training OD be prepared to see precious little HD/DR or ID pops.. if you do its because they were very close to skill ups anyway.

I wouldnt disagree with the poster who said 12-14 weeks for a secondary..

THe other point.. take this player..

Jump Shot: sensational Jump Range: proficient
Outside Def.: tremendous Handling: proficient
Driving: proficient Passing: prominent
Inside Shot: awful Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: respectable
Stamina: awful Free Throw: inept

Experience: awful

Now he probably doesnt have many pops left in him... now if i go with an OD pop first I would bet that i would have less chance to improve his JS and PA as quickly (if at all afterwards)... If I go with Passing first then JS I reckon i can still get the OD in the same speed..

sorry..late at night.. hope this makes sense..
